But not even close when it comes to animation styles and specially when it comes to mc design, Tomie is pretty much unmatched imho, didn't see in other games a mc like her yet
Would you believe me if I said the DOL developer, Vrelnir, makes thousands every month? The project is open source, so many others contribute and fix the game's bugs for him. Somehow, he's convinced others to work for him for free while he reaps all the benefits. The animations are the most dogwater pixel art I have ever seen.
Well, I do believe you, and I think we have to congratulate the developer there to be able to do that, I mean, doing that amount of money from that game, maybe he's smarter than us somehow...

Yeah Linus is sort of right, but I think if you keep your nose, and other orifices clean, there are a couple of boyfriend endings that can be obtained which fit with what Tomie is actually looking for in the beginning.
Due to character customization and clothing options, making animations or cg for DoL is actually a titanic pain in the ass. Once they made the decision to allow you to choose your appearance, options became severely limited. Development is always a game of tradeoffs. It could stand to benefit from some generic combat animations, but otherwise that's not really where the focus is.
Depends what you are looking for. You could go for Fashion Business or Special Request those are fem MC SBX type games where you corrupt them (but not as dark as this game. There's no hardcore rape in them).
