Oh why not, also depends on the insects themselves. Also the game lacks violence at this point tbh: a few cute scenes (the tentacle one is perfect), but the rest looks pretty softcore and almost willing. I'm not talking the actual guro, and the current vector is pretty neat - just hope to get things a little bit more brutal.

So what's actually in the game right now? Got through the sewer part but there's no more quests. Still a bunch of gallery scenes I haven't unlocked. Are they actually in the game? Am I missing something?
Edit: I see they're deprecated now, and the gallery's broken. So are the handful of sex scenes the only original assets in this entire game?

yes. it's still being worked on, but Shine has a bunch of IRL stuff to deal with and has cut WAY down on her ability to build this game. so content is a bit lacking, and very slow to come, but she IS still working on it when she can find the spare time.
What's even been built? It looks like every asset and system in this game was just grabbed off a store page. Does the dev have the capability to go beyond that? Or is the lack of that why the project has stalled like so many others?
TLDR; the dev is a scammer that loves free money and gives nothing in exchange. The game was abandoned for two years and when the earnings started dropping, he came back to release this shitty 0.6 version to make it look like it's still being worked on... only to disappear again because the earnings are back to thousands of dollars every month for free.
Constant excuses, greed and abandoning, that's all there is.
If you already checked some forums here, sure you already know that it's always the same story.
First a fresh game appears with good gameplay, scenes and potential.
Devs always tell: The hard part is already over and date of the next update -even finishing the game- soon will be ready.
Then fishing season starts:
2nd update comes after few months. Then every update comes after a longer time than the previous one. No need to tell that these so called updates contain very little changes.
Of course similar ”unfortunate” excuses: unexpected technical difficulties, coding takes much time, real life problems, changing graphic engine for better gameplay, some bugs needed to be fixed, lost some files etc etc...
A few devs are serious about what they are doing. But I can't say they are more than 4 or 5 devs.

thats why one must not give money on patreon so easily xd, especially from an unknown dev who havent proven themself with other games before. sometime im quite surprised by the amount of support they receive when its been stale for so long xd.
like, patreon and supporting is good, but, when its actually someone working seriously on it, that has shown to have the requirerements to actually make the full game.
Is there an example of a dev that came up with a fun concept that had consistent updates and delivered it after a while?
I think just a few Devs are like that:
1) There is Alex_Horn from Ukraine who makes Yuna. This game have a good progress until now and updating quite often. And dev is working under serious conditions of war such as electricity issues and another fruitless experiences such as shelling and bombardings.
2) Wicked Island is also quite good. Even the game was quite buggy at first, they are patching and updating constantly. Still some bugs but open world games are tend to have some issues.
3) Also there was a dev who made Alien quest:Eve. He did 2 more games also. As I remember just because he could not keep the deadline, he didn't took patreon money from his supporters for few months.
4) The dev who made Captivity. It wasn't a big project. But dev made a few updates in time and finished the game without funny excuses.
Point 3 is not good. Grimhelm or whatever his name was MADE good game but he is dead or in prison now. Patreon from him is closen for VERY long time and his website is dead for YEARS now. R.I.P.

JFC.. seriously stop with the "Grim is dead". You sound like a "the end is nigh" bum. He is a silent dev that makes a game in private and doesn't say anything until its ready to be released. He did this before, and he's likely doing the same damn thing again.
Wicked Island is still VERY rampant with bugs. Its so bad I haven't ever even scraped getting to the new content because of hard locks and soft locks. Give it a try, but be wary of its alpha state because it really shows it. I've made numerous bug reports and honestly.. none of those I found have been fixed and they are replicable and still there to this day. So yeah.. that.
Captivity was kinda a weird out of no where game. The dev dropped it gave it 3 updates and then called the quits after like 2 months for other SFW projects and marked it as complete. Its really not "complete" but its 4 stages that work well, but there isn't much else to it. There are 2 Captivity clones out there being developed and some modders for the game.

third crisis, tomie want to get married (the dev had to stop but the game is done), moon rhapsody, etc, tbh its sadly rare to get gud games. and in 3D its often more rare probably because you need to make 3D model, animation etc that is quite long, unless you use assets but its gonna be bad if you use them except a few. especially those big asset flips, you see the first pic of the game and be like "i recognise 4 assets in this pic" lmao

Two updates in 1 year, that is, the update will be released within 5-6 months. The update will be released either at the end of this month or next month, because the last 3 updates were at exactly that interval, not counting 2 years of downtime. The developer is not that active in public, not counting Discord, but I don’t know how active she is there now. The first message is just a release, then a video review and the last stage of the update.
