it is simple...so many here in f95zone are sooo fucking lazy, it makes me go nuts sometimes. They want every information or solution in one click and the most important thing is that they do not use the search function (like the guy above me, the code was posted like 3 times here)....rant over...
Could anyone please try to post it again, i know it must be frustrating to upload it to mega, but its almost just as frustrating when you get error messages and cant play the game.

notes:
1. Dont put the zip into a protected or very deep folder structure + name. I recommend making a "game folder" in C: and place all games there.
2. Extract with japanese name encoding
3. Right click on game.exe and start with japanese locale emulator (you need to install this), if you dont want to install it then set your system locale to japanese.

Here's the game patched and on English, remember to extract on Japanese Locale everything:
What one was supposed to do, which I spent hours trying to figure out is:
(Everything extracted on Japanese locale) Extract the base game, extract the patch files (Update files) by merging the files, START THE GAME, get to the title screen (All while text is in Japanese), then exit the game, then patch it with the English patch. That's it.

you can't yet the HOP Cult will play a role in 2.0 story you can only befriend the normal member for now

Copying my summary of the article:
- This update adds 1 new area, Vacation Island. It's accessible from Opal Port Town after an event in Mirror Town. Here you can fight and recruit Drain Succubus and Downer Succubus.
- If you've cleared Version 1's story, there's an event in Mirror Town to recruit someone called Lunar. She gets a titjob scene on Vacation Island.
- A new persistent status will be added. This makes it so if you reach 0 Vigor, you're brought to the brink of orgasm(?) and gain a lot of Mirror Presence.
- C105 mail order goods are now sold out.
- The competition among fans to add a succubus to DIW continues until tomorrow.
I can see the 1st and 3rd in the Succubus House, at least. The 2nd scene hasn't been added to the game.

so there's ver1.40 with significant update, but apparently there's ver1.42 the following day for some patch that i assume to fix bugs on the new content

I await great things with this game. I already enjoy it as it is, so I know I will more so later on. Waiting for the update, seeing as I think I've done all the game has to offer. I have crabs blocking me now, and the large crystals too, which will probably be dropped after a certain update.
