while I don't agree with the view point of TtP being a disappointment bc Zack manages to fall in love with Sophie in the initial split. I am capable of getting why people wanted a darker turn(even though Felix's ending proved he still took pleasure in torturing the dude, he just kept Sophie in the dark about it). that being said there is no better slow paced corruption game out there imo. Sophie agreed to a deal and exited a different person in each ending except the one good end. the endings covered an array of scenarios, the last one was especially brutal towards her. Its like people stopped playing after the first set of endings but remembered to come here and complain about it for the last 7 months.

Yes, maybe you just have bad taste. The ratings are clear compared to their previous games despite having better arts.
If you're talking about the votes/stars who cares about those lmao. Never have i ever cared about that when deciding a game to play on here & i can't remember the last time it even mattered. Look at top 5 sorting by likes with ntr tag those top five games have little to no ntr. Looking at the whole first page only like 10 are even good ntr games the rest are meh, little ntr, or sandbox. What are your top ntr games since we have bad taste if we like TTP?

On the one hand, I can understand why some people might be disappointed in TtP. If one's goal when looking up NTR is hard corruption and the like, TtP won't satisfy that craving. It's a very soft VN in a lot of ways. Unfortunately, that's utterly and absolutely inevitable. It's been produced via Patreon as the primary money making platform. As long as that remains the case, there's no way that Azienda will push things. Unless they make a push to get all of their fanbase to relocate to subscribestar, or try to set up a ci-en/Fanbox or something extra and completely abandon Patreon, they're super limited in what they can do.

Of course, if things keep going the way they are, Patreon's gonna nuke all adult content from their platform ANYway... I give it two more years at the most... But that's a whole other conversation.

On the other hand, calling TtP a disappointment in general as if it's objectively bad is quite frankly ridiculous. It might not be some amazing corruption and horror story, but that's like saying that the Lord of the Rings is bad because the Sauron didn't win. It's absurd. You can't classify something as good or bad for purely subjective reasons.

TtP may have its flaws, but as an overall VN, it's very well done and certainly much better than a lot of other works with the NTR label, VN or otherwise. Just look at all the slop from Atelier Sakura and the like if you really want to see mediocre, disappointing, and stuff where the art is usually its only redeeming feature.

Saying that TtP is worse than Misumi is absolutely hilarious and absurd. The Misumi VN was almost completely generic in terms of writing. It only had a single stand-out element to it, and said element was under-utilized and undermined by the fact that Misumi went from zero to turbo-slut waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast with essentially very little build-up.

Ratings shouldn't be considered as objective metric for comparing games. There are many factors at play that influence the score besides the game actual quality. The main one would be that the more popular game is the harder it is to get high score. A game with poor art can have really high score because the people that are going to play it are the very core audience, those people know what they look for and generally won't even score down the game because of art. While the popular game with good art will attract plenty of randos and more so it will attract people that just want to bring the score down so it has lower score than the game they cheer for.

And if you actually read through some of the 1 star reviews for this game, they're beyond dumb and unjustified.

Objectively so, this is a dying business. Pack it up soon, find a better hobby that doesnt have to poison yourself.

Most 1 star reviews are just "too wordy" exposing themselves as 5th grade reading level. The VN is long and dragged out at points but in no way is it "too wordy".

It is absolutely too wordy. The dialogue doesn't have enough substance to warrant how dragged out it is. The game will use like 15 lines of repetitious dialogue to get a point across that can be done in 2-3 lines. It's like a Persona game.

And this is coming from someone who does like the game, the sections right before Sophie dyes her hair is peak NTR
