Weekly development update
Alright, I kind of barely did any writing this week, instead I've been going through all the renders of the game fixing clipping issues. It doesn't feel like the most productive thing to do but I think that's because its the kind of work that's best if nobody ever notices it was done. Still, its better that I did it before starting with the new renders since I was very much planning on doing it anyway before finishing up the first episode and now I have a pretty good grasp of what kind of clipping I can easily fix and what kind I'll have to avoid from now on.
That said, you shouldn't expect there to be no clipping anymore as my photoshop skills aren't good enough for some of these things I have fabricated, especially in the earlier updates. Backpacks for example will still very much clip into the characters shoulders as every fix I was managed to do looked worse than the actual clipping. For the most part the fixes boil down to small parts of skin clipping through clothes in the armpit/crotch/breast area, as well as a whole bunch of neck seams. I was able to somewhat fix what in my opinions was the most horrendous render of the game though:
Anyway, not the most exciting dev update but it is what kept me busy this week and considering that I managed to get through all renders of the game in one week I don't even think its that bad. Writing will continue next week.
