You don't have weird taste, it's the market dynamics at work here. A number of reasons combined IMO:

1) The market for straight forward porn game is larger than the one for real visual novels with sex in the first place.

2) Proper AVNs take time to build up and cannot generate revenue as fast as pure sex games, so many developers tank due to financial constraints after a while.

3) More interactive games beyond AVN like sandbox, adventure, RPG, resource management etc. require sophistication and calibration that most developers cannot handle. Starting is easy, but once the programming complications come in many are unable to proceed.

4) Costs much less in $$$ and time to develop pure sex games i.e. no need to spend much time writing, proof reading, testing, coming up with setting and customized renders etc. Just look at the new Daz3D games popping out everyday - pick up a few available assets, slap them with generic animations and do up a few simple lines porn story and one is good to go.

Nora is the only Inceton game that has a more solid story beyond just a MC going around lusting for sex, so it's going to end up costing more and needing time for a fanbase to build up.

I noticed that the forum post includes several in-game images, but I haven't been able to see those scenes in the current version of the remake. Were these images from an older version of the game, or are these scenes just not implemented yet in the remake? I'm a bit confused about the differences between versions.

yes some of these scenes are from the orignal thats not in the remake.

The main difference between the versions is that the original is lewder for the sake of being lewder, while the remake is more focused on its actual plot. There's still a sex scene, but it serves the story just a little bit better. The actual storyline remains pretty much the same.

The original simply had sex scenes for the sake of having them. They were with practically random girls (besides maybe the first one) that were only in the story for the sex scene and that's it. The remake basically streamlines the more ridiculous bits, while expanding upon the more plot oriented stuff, as part of this, the removal of pretty much all the random sex makes the MC come off much better imo.

Now I just wait for the game to get an update...

looks like its not coming out this week. according to discord one of the devs in sick so they havent been able to complete the update . LT will be released this week instead .

I had a feeling LT would release next. Especially after we found out one of the devs is sick.

Guess we’re still waiting then.

Sad... Finally an Inceton game that has an interesting storyline and different feel to the boatloads of standard stuff they churn out, and it gets put on the back burner... :(

because they release 1 update per week and its always the game that has stats on thier site . also inceton has like 30 + pcs with RTX 5090s plus maybe even more and with a staff equally as big and focused solely on rendering . considering the update will probably small (1k renders at max) its very possiible .

NOTE: Inceton games are no longer Linux due to their game protection. I also cannot say the crack will work with Mac, it was ONLY tested with Windows, someone with better coding skills and daily drives a Mac may have to figure it out.

Also, if you cannot active the bonus content, it seems save files were left in the archive by the dev (persistent file and a log file) you need to delete those from that folder (or the save folder it will be recreated when you start the game) and bonus will activate after that.

I was updating well before that and had links, but they got wiped....so thanks...just have to delete all that I uploaded...

And bonus codes are no longer needed, and also all Inceton games are no longer Linux. And why do they never get promoted now...
