The issue is, that "update" 6 months ago was just like 10 renders added randomly to avoid getting the abandoned tag.

Not so sure it had ANYTHING to do with ANYTHING on F95. We give him zero, zilch, nada, njietski, noll, null, 零 dosh.
But it probably was in the same spirit but proof of life to his patreons... Wouldn't cut MY mustard but hey, to each it's own...

That might be the case for yourself but you'd probably actually be surprised just how many Patreons a dev gets come from people on this site.

That might be the case for yourself but you'd probably actually be surprised just how many Patreons a dev gets come from people on this site.

jesus fucking christ I was curious, bored, so I went and checked. Game's been in development for like 6 years now. In that time the dev managed to put out a whopping 2600 (!!!) renders (see exhibit A). In case you're wondering, that's less than a render per day during that whole time. I don't often talk shit about devs, but come the fuck on. And still so many people pay for that shit. Either he is a genius, just lucky, or a really good scam artist.

When he started out he released updates pretty consistently then in 2020 he decided to start milking.

He got lucky. If he was a genius the game would not still be in the prologue after 6 years.

A good scam artist...well...

Wanna know something really funny about the renders per day you mentioned? The last update, 0.6.5, it took 15 months for him to do that and it had 90 renders. That is 6 renders per month.
