On subscribestar, the author has a goal of donations for alternative paths. Now it has collected 86.2%

Assuming the goal gets funded then probably not, they'll get added as part of normal progression. Unless Nergal is committed to the "extra writer" part of the goal, in which case the devtime of the game may get expanded.
