Then you did something wrong.

1. Download the game.
2. Unpack the game and run it and start your game, then save and exit.
3. Unpack URM getting the file out called 0x52_URM.rpa and place this in the "game" folder inside the main folder.
4. Run the game and once you load up your save hit Alt and m and it opens the mod for you.

I just redownloaded the game and did the above and it works for me.

where can i delete the saves for the game? like the root of it because after i delete the game and redownload it, i can still see my old save in the game even tho there no save file in the game/saves.

Did you edit a file to get UnRen to work???

If so then you need to delete the game and unpack a new one and only put in URM and once in game hit Alt m and type in gold and it will bring up all that has gold in it and the goldGrowth is the one to change.

idk why but somehow for unknown reason its working now. but now that i use URM to change goldgrowth variable nothing happens. is there something i am missing?

You missed the whole walkthrough and the massive effort that went into thsi game in terms of QOL options to ease the game play. Just look into the walkthrough, play with the many settings and find your own story path to enjoy the game.
