Have to say I really like the feel of the game. Seems much less overtly verbose (as in, filled with massive walls of text) compared to most text-based games and the gameplay is quite fun.
That said....
Lust doesn't seem to have any real use for now. There are no lust attacks, there's no point leveling charisma other than for in-dialogue roll pass checks. Sex is only something that happens if you lose or win with ~70+ lust and picked the option. There's no gameplay or leveling or proper agency behind it, and I'm also not a fan of almost all sex scene player images being male..The game can be quite buggy too. I had to do several reloads and get back to some encounters later to get them working.
The perk system was truly odd, frequently perks with "level X" as requirement were not unlockable at that level (probably referred to total # of perks invested in that line instead), and there was stuff like the charisma perk that promised extra money for sold items not working. With no respec I had to restart and learned to sit on the perks until I had enough total perks to savescum and test if I could actually get what I wanted and whether it works as advertised or not.
I also think the crafting system should have a warning when you've reached the end of current content, so you don't waste effort grinding for more levels when there's nothing there.
Also a fair warning to others, patreon has two tiers, "Citizen" (which is the same free version here) and "Knight" which is for max tier paid content only. Patreon ofc being as bad a platform as it is doesn't even communicate this to you clearly. But you need the
10.5 bucks / month subscription to get that "Knight" version. Considering the game isn't even halfway done and has been in development for almost a decade that seems positively absurd to me.
