The thing in Var Browser is, it is a BepInEx plugin, it injects into VaM and lets you see a library that is outside VaM's scope. The whole purpose is to unload the packages from VaM but to have them as near to it as possible.Browser Assist is not BepInEx plugin, and it sees only what VaM can see. A merger of both is VarBrowser already. It could do some things a little better but it will be always a compromise. The solution?... VaM2 maybe...

Can you tell me how to delete the Var file back (from AddonPackages to AllPackages)? By hand or something?
There is an "Uninstall all" button, but I only need one thing.
When I click on the scene in VarBrowser, it is installed (the var file is transferred from AllPackages to AddonPackages). Right?
But if the same file contains 10 scenes, 50 hairs, 100 textures, etc., is the entire var file transferred? Doesn't VarBrowser parse into separate files?
Why do the instructions ask you to make an archived copy of the files before installing VarBrowser?

Yes, it has to be moved by hand from AddonPackages to AllPackages, or you can use the new Vambropy to help in fine-tuning a little more (single uninstall, custom var lists) and not having to uninstall all.
You are right in that when you install a scene VarBrowser automatically installs the var, the whole package, so all the scenes from that var are are installed too. That is because VarBrowser does not unpack the var and select only a scene, it just moves the var to AddonPackges so all that content will be accessable by VaM.
As for the instructions, I think it is safe to have a copy of your stuff, but I think VarBrowser does not risk your files. I have used it a lot and never had problems with it

does it still work with the new update of vam??? i dont update my vam because I'm afraid its not working after the updated and this plugin is a god send
