Winterfire, i don't know if you already said but, how far to you intend to cover with this game? all the volumes or will you do like with legacy and stop somewhere to latter make a second game?
It depends on how big in size the game gets. Ideally, I'd want to keep the game under 5gb. Right now, with R13's content, it's 534mb after I compressed it. However, I am thinking of adding achievements (suggested by billyjoebobmartin ) with extra hentai scenes on R13 before it goes public to address the recent concerns in the reviews. This will bring the size up again, but it'll be a while before it even reaches 1gb. All in all, I believe I can cover enough to be able to have a game with enough hentai content for all the main heroines.

Winterfire i just had a crazy idea. what if you decided to make issei's life span sacrifices for power a part of the game mechanics. like as in a mechanic we players could use during hard/impossible fights at the cost of risking a game over if we abuse it too much. yes i'm specifically thinking of the upcoming kokabiel fight, but not only that one. i'm thinking of all the tough fights up until issei get (what might as well be called) reincarnated by ophis and great red.
i'm not sure how exactly you'd impliment this idea. but i'm thinking it could be something that gives a 'permanant free no turn cost power up' to the base stats before boost skill is applied. thus there would be some code that tracks how many times this feature gets used. and if more than X times before the reincarnation, a game over scene plays. maybe if you wanted to, a different one for each 'big bad'. though i doubt it as that might add too much to the work load.

That already exists by using FPs, all the winnable fights can be won automatically by consuming FPs. In some you can skip and lose by consuming just 1 FP. In the unwinnable ones (like Kokabiel) you can only skip.

hmm i guess that's sorta true. but darn i was hoping for a method to turn the unwinnable fights into possibly winnable (depending on player skill) at high cost.

Lore-wise, that would be turning the protagonist into a full dragon (as Ddraig explains in Volume 4 during Kokabiel fight), which wouldn't be ideal for the hentai part of the game.
Always in the lore, the protagonist can lose control and become highly dangerous (as shown in the anime) which is the whole reason why Azazel first ordered Raynare to kill him (although she had to fuck around and find out ).
Either way, I don't want redundant mechanics in my game, FPs are pretty well balanced throughout the game and serve that purpose fairly well (plus I can use them for other stuff like minigames).
Got this on my first try (I am currently writing achievements), did anyone else get 5000 or higher?
I was thinking of doing: 1000 - 2000 - 4000 for the delivery minigame.

personally i'd suggest 500, 1k, 2k benchmarks. something sorta easy but still have to work for it. this one is the first minigame of the game after all.

I don't remember Azazel ordering Issei's death to Raynare. Az is a chill dude in canon, I'm pretty sure he just wanted him observed. Raynare was just a crazy zealot so she just killed him as a result. Is that changed in this game to make Raynare more sympathetic?

It was probably a retcon because the author had a change of plans, or it was unclear due to most people watching the anime (which skips on that point entirely).
Canon-wise, Raynare was ordered to swiftly kill Issei, however she disobeyed and played around due to her sadistic nature.
As far as I know though, taking Asia's Sacred Gear was a plan of her own, which Azazel knew nothing about.
My personal theory (so not canon) is that she planned to steal Issei's Sacred Gear first, but once she wrongly thought it was just a simple twice critical, she set her eyes on Asia's sacred gear instead, and got rid of Issei.
Either way, if anything it makes Raynare be less sympathetic since she played with Issei's feelings before killing him, rather than swiftly killing him as ordered.
There's also to consider that Azazel had the White Dragon Emperor already, so taking the risk of getting the Red Dragon Emperor as well could have lead to a conflict which would have resulted in his death anyway.
Now that everything resolved itself, and Issei is under the Devil's responsability and he's learning about his Sacred Gear without losing control (although he still does, despite everything), Azazel can be chill.
That doesn't make Azazel "bad", it's the same concept as Gremory House killing stray Devils. It's unfortunate, but you cannot risk endangering everyone.
All of the "2" are foreplay (Blowjobs, grinding, handjobs, ...), R13 added some more meaningful scenes (1 each for Asia and Rias) and also introduced the Achivement system which, for now, adds an extra scene to Rias (foreplay again).
R14 will be adding only teasing, R15 will add two more meaningful scenes with Rias and Asia (Apron and Nurse outfit), and more Achievement scenes to at least even out the numbers.
The "scenes" exclude teasing and other nudity, which also exist within the gameplay (such as Dress Break power).
btw i'm pretty sure if kokabiel's evasion got nerfed i could kill him. managed to scratch him a second time after the bug screenshot and i think if other ranged attacks hit him i could have fully boosted queen promo issei finish him off. (sucks that issei missed for me)

I'd need to know what lead to it, like step by step to replicate the issue. Could just be a visual bug? If I had to guess, maybe you highlighted him and then pressed end turn and the "target" stayed there then Kiba got bugged?

def not a visual only bug. after noticing the bug i switched to another character to attack and they all worked just fine, even issei much later on. didn't get to test xenovia though as she was the first to die. but koneko and issei had no issues doing their melee attacks. and kiba was broken for seemingly the whole battle. (he died 4th or 5th.)

just in case try to leave kiba (or maybe someone else) selected if they have space movement left over when you end a turn. while i don't think i did this, i could have on turn 1. while a long shot maybe this is the 2nd form of the historic red token bug.
