If by rework, they mean making it not a minigame, then good. If not, then, eh.
Rework? the game has almost no content, why would he start doing reworks? Hahaha... it would be nice if he continued developing content for the mom, Aunt, sister, Grandma, the childhood friend, etc...
He has a lot to choose from lol.
Reworking it so it's less tedious is fine and all, but the problem here is that it's just yet another completely unnecessary detour. The developer would rather work on tweaking a janky H-scene with some random character you can't even interact with beyond this one scene, than actually working on the core content of the game with the sister, mom, cousin and neighbor. Those four characters haven't seen any new updates for several months now, and you'd think they'd be a priority considering they're literally the main cast.
The H-scene rework would be fine if there was something else in the update to go along with it, but I'm 90% sure the developer's just going to add it, call it a day on the update, and then have everyone wait yet another month for what feels like the bare minimum to include in an update. Patreon milking at its finest.

Yeah, I agree on that. Shame, that, especially since it happens too often on the projects that seemingly have much potential. I have to wonder if the Patreon structure has a slight corrupting effect on these works. Surely it does not happen quite as often on Kickstarters, or if certain games (and developers) wait until being near finished to announce themselves?
It happens when independent and undisciplined devs are paid monthly to produce content. It's far easier and more lucrative to do the absolute bare minimum and stretch out your game's development indefinitely than it is to work earnestly and make substantial progress every month. If your game's complete the money machine's gonna slow down, if not cease functioning alright, so why not work at a snail's pace to fleece as much dough out of your following?
Is that cynical? Yeah, sure, but it's the unfortunate truth of a lot of Patreon h-games out there. The key word to keep in mind here though isn't "indie", but rather "undisciplined"; a considerable amount of h-game devs on Patreon make games like this as their first taste of game development. Some of them even juggle multiple projects on top of that, which is an even redder flag.
Case in point, I think this very game is the first one made by Quiquersson, and while functionally it's (mostly) fine, the lack of discipline really shows in his inability to properly rein in his vision and work on what matters. Plus, it's easier to just work on one little thing a month so we're gonna be stuck with barebones inclusions of secondary girls for at least six more months. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
