I don't know, guys. I feel like there must be some bugs during my playthrough? The storytelling is kinda weird, like, "inconsistent" or something. The progression between scenes are kinda rigid and sudden.

Are you playing the game with walkthrough mod and follow both sports and music route simultaneously?
If so, the game is meant to follow only one route. If you follow both, you basically have both events at the same time, meaning you see the sports part planned for an afternoon and afterwards you switch to the music part at the same time period. It's cool to follow both routes, but it's quite annoying because it destroys the linear path you would follow on either sports or music route and messes with the whole feeling and feels more like you are just jumping between events randomly.
Otherwise I don't know what you could mean

Genetically, obviously, yes. For her background, I have not gotten any impression she was born/raised with a more traditional Asian upbringing. But then again, it would depend on what you define as an Asian background. Traditional? Contemporary?

I was just curious if we knew (maybe by some dev comment) if she had Chinese or Korean background or what country. I get by the name that she is American and raised in an "American-way" I guess. I'm not western so I don't know how that works there, here they always raised their family in a traditional way.

Meh, I am putting this on the shelf for now. It is going down that route of so many LIs that are supposed to draw you and you are supposed to stick with one. Too much time will be spent on different paths that can lead to long dev time for the story you end up with or an abandoned tag. Even if it does get finished, there are too many games out there with good stories for me to repeat one over and over again for a slightly different path along the same story for diff LI.
