I've kept the old version on my hard drive through all this time. My favourite is Emilie. Ocean - please include her in the current version!
Looks like the new Katarina aged up from late teens to mid 20's. Just for the record, I'm not complaining about that.

Holy balls, Ocean! What an improvement! Someone's been busy! Miru doesn't look like an Asian boy anymore and the rest of them are next level hawt!!
P.S. I desperately hope we get to do terribly inappropriate things with this new Helen. She's amazing!

the old version captivated me a lot, making the game my all-time favorite, this rework is not far behind, I'm enjoying it a lot.

(ʘдʘ╬) WIAB is soo damn frustrating, DAMN YOU OCEAN ! how am I supposed to choose if I like every character, and yes this guy is still one of the devs worth supporting, his growth is just amazing and he doesn't whine like some lazy devs which makes you want to

Reworked ch 1 had soo many things packed into it compared to the old version that you feel your not playing the same story anymore. The addition of new characters plus remembering the old ones makes me feel I'll have a damn tough time choosing how many to pursue, though I'll admit Leia, Dana and Donna made an impression on me soo much so that I'm looking forward to their story the most.
Anyone noticed the dev had a thing for spiders and now we have snakes ? I wonder if their is more to them ?
Vidal the king of Pervert I did not think we'd have the same interest in WIAB here as well with Leia. Anyone else ?

but if Leia was not in the game I would go for Katie because I love bad girls or girls that can kill me

Okay so finally played this. I love the effort ocean put into the renders and the animation. Miru looks a hundred times better and more real than before. The other characters pretty much look the same till now. And I think one or two new characters were introduced that weren't there before?
Anyway this aside...I feel like the writing has actually taken a hit. Like you can tell that English is not Ocean's first language with the grammatical errors but even without that, the dialogue in the game really feels unnatural. Like it really breaks the immersion for me. Maybe it's because the characters speak in expositions or perhaps it's the non nativity coming through...but yeah.

Yes. But a word of caution. Don't quit in the early chapters because the graphics and storytelling both take a quantum leap in terms of quality after the prison sequence. The problem with it isn't the game itself but that the storylines are unresolved and left on a cliffhanger.

Well Chapter 1 reworked took roughly 1 1/2 years and chapter 2 according to Ocean will be twice as big so maybe 3 years for the next update..
Loved this version although I never played the first. Short first run on this one ending at the pool with Leia but really happy with this one so far. I see people recommending playing the original, does anyone have a link to it?
