Not complaining just saying, earlier he mentioned everything will be out by November, 1.5 or 2.5 months ago
That time I thought it'll be out by December 2nd or 3rd, going by logic, it's better to estimate till Christmas for now

Because he also said will release in November in the devlogs and well, here we are.
Even a release in January could be considered since Ocean make seems he is doing WIAB in a potato running Windows 95

First time on this site? After that he can say wait another 2 weeks then another then another, disappear for a few weeks and then say he will release in 2 months.Dev doesn't have a track record of behaving like that, but go off.
When did he say it will be 30 episodes? Its impossible to wait that many years...Its seems this game becoming like AWAM never to be finished

Not defending Ocean...enough of that goes on...however:
He didn't start another project...it was already his...his story. Someone else was doing it until they stopped...so Ocean decided to do it himself. The visuals improved and the story was changed somewhat. Given the two stories are so connected, Ocean decided (his right to do so and didn't personally bother me) to update WIAB to try and match SG...and also change some story elements to match his revised script of SG. (I also think, my opinion, we have had so much SG to coincide with events from WIAB and will be like this going forward, but that's just a theory of mine).
if going to whine like a 12 year old...at least about stuff that is correct (like is stretching himself thin between both a problem por not, which so far it has been I agree but I don't think that will be a problem now going forward).Personally I'm anti SG as this was the better Vn and story until he took over SG himself so hoping now most of the reworks are done that things move along again at a nice pace.

So... he did started another project.
If he had someone else worked on it before and that someone stopped and he took over, he started another project. He was only working on one project now he's working two. Same thing, really. One year without update is really killing whatever momentum this game had and does not add confidence to future supporters.
He's already lost 37 supporters over the last 5 months and his patreon's page growth has basically stagnated for the whole year. Pretty familiar route to people who've witnessed projects being abandoned or cut short. Let's hope he figures this out and can re-start this somehow because I like this game and the renders are top notch.

I love both games but I agree and I already said it at the time, I think it is a hell of a mistake to try to run 2 projects at the same time, if a single project sometimes becomes a maze for the developer and some even abandon it, I do not want to imagine 2 projects at the same time and with a much more limited hardware than other leading developers ....
He shouldn't have done this, he should have focused on SG and that's it, WIAB has a good story but it could have been his second project at the end of SG and connect the stories, it would have been fun to remember SG events and intertwine them with WIAB, but not at the same time, this is going to end badly and it's something that bothers me, because SG is probably my favorite renpy to this day.
Love the songs in this game, and the game itself! hopefully theres a list of the songs used. Thanks!

In one of his more recent dev logs, he outlined release dates for both games. I thought there was a December release planned. Don't quote me on that.

It might not be a harem simulator where characters are constantly fucking and throwing themselves at the MC, but I don’t think that makes the writing automatically “good”.
Moody lighting and close ups don’t mask the fact that Ocean’s writing often falls into the realm of melodrama and there are a lot of strange anime-esq moments of exaggerated characters and weird comedy that feel out of place.
