That is wonderful news, and I really enjoyed Book One. Will the story continue in Book Two? Will the two lovers marry? have children? I was able to turn it into a forbidden love affair and I am really enjoying it. I got very excited knowing that their secret love affair is not so secret. Will he corrupt her, or will she find corruption when and if she finds work? Like as a barmaid? Will other members of the family be involved?
Love the storywriting and the artwork. The best of luck to you all.
Now I can't be answering everything and ruining the surprise for all of you! :sneaky: ;) :giggle:

But, I can and will tell you that the story definitely continues in "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers" and it will be up to you who want to find love with, corrupt, have children with and how restrictive or free that the characters will be when it comes to who they take an interest in... and, of course, the ramifications or consequences that might come about from doing so or not.

Hopefully, with this surgery out of the way (currently healing from having it on Wednesday), I think the story writing is going to be a lot better (since I won't be on painkillers any longer) and with the time I've been spending learning Daz, while waiting for my surgery, the artwork is much, much better now... so, I think you and everyone else can look forward to enjoying the continuation and all of the goodies we have planned for all of you!! ;)

I assure you, it will be pretty... WICKED. :devilish::giggle:;)

Very nice, I really think that you got a little Hitchcock in you, lol. Did not know of your illness or surgery. Thank goodness all is looking well. I wish you a speedy recovery. Any clue as to when Bed Chambers will be out? First, and foremost, take care of your health.

Can't really give a specific time as when it will be out, but if I had my way it'd already be out... but, sadly, things don't always work out the way we expect or want them to, so... right now, I can't say... I can PROMISE THOUGH that I will be jumping back into it as soon as I can, but...once I've been cleared for it (hopefully this coming Tuesday at my Post-Op doctor's visit)... I'll have 10 weeks of physical therapy to get through first and will get back to work once that has been completed.

Honestly, I might actually be working before the therapy is completed... depends on whether or not I can get away with doing so, without pissing my wife and doctor off... and haven't gotten some of the members, who care about me (which I am thankful that I have many here that do), here sending packages of torture devices for the wife to use on my for screwing up (as usual).:ROFLMAO:

But, definitely hope to have something out as soon as I can get greenlit to go back to work! :giggle:

Your health is number 1, no doubt about it. I had a liver transplant 4 years ago, New Years Eve and my heath/liver is fantastic. The downside is, is that I have to stay retired, my energy level drops very quickly which is a new experience for me. I drove charter bus for a living, long long hours and lots of days working straight and I loved it. But, I know I don't have that kind of energy anymore, and at 75, I guess it's time to smell the roses, before they start tossing them on me, lol.

Although I don't know of all of Jack medical history, I think this was the 4th or even the 5th surgery he had in the past few years. His health isn't good and even when he should take better care of himself this stuborn old mule knows it better and doing the stuff he does, so the wife, his friends, the terapist and us get pissed at him.
Nevertheless, I doubt anybody here would want to change a thing in his personality, cause that makes him what he is and that is what a lot of us gotten to like this strange fellow. Sure, if we could change his back or improve his health that would be another story. Yet, I don't know if the world would be ready "Cyborg-Jack".

Yes, it is hard to change a leopards spots, especially an old leopard. We old farts are who we are and we be damned if we are going to let these illnesses get us down. At least for long. I am told constantly, dad, you can't be doing this or you shouldn't be doing that, but alas, we continue doing these things because that is who we are. And if it is our last stand, then so be it. We'll stand, till we can't stands no more.

I doubt that.

That put it is into perspective.:sneaky:

Let me put that into perspective: Without getting caught or pissing them (the wife and doctor) off too much.
Fuck... anyone ever tell you that you are too smart for your own good, my friend?? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Either that, or I really need to work on my spontaneity, so that people can't figure me out. :cautious::unsure:

Glad to hear that you were able to get a transplant and are still with us, bud!

But, I definitely know what you mean about running out of energy quickly and having to try and adjust to those changes.

It is an adjustment and like you, I am disabled now because of this shell that I've been inhabiting, but refuse to just sit around and wait for death to come and collect my tired, old ass.

I've had a total of 7 spinal surgeries, 4 of which was in the last 6 years.

Have also had knee surgery between the first two surgeries and just had my shoulder surgery... which, man, just finally got to take the dressing off of me, like I was told to by the doctor, and... yeah... wish I hadn't.

And, I am NOT stubborn...

No way could I change my spots... I may only be 58, but yeah... I am an old soul now and seen enough action to be legally classified an 'Old Fart'.

But, like you, I refuse to let my health troubles define me or get me down. Sure, we have to stop every now and again to catch our breath, or recharge some, but not done by a long shot... I've got lots of story left to tell and know that I was to croak before I got those stories out there, that there'd be many of people here who would dig my ass up, hold a seance, stuff my spirit back in this body and force me to get back to work!!:ROFLMAO:

But, yeah, if I had a dollar for every time I heard my wife (or someone here or elsewhere) tell me to stop or don't do something, I wouldn't have to try and ply my trade as a game creator. :sneaky:;)

Still, I fully intend to to do this till the day I die... whenever that might be and hopefully no seance needed.;)

Okay, speaking of surgery...

As mentioned, I finally reached a point, post-op, where I was told that I could take a shower and get cleaned up, so after a long process, the wife was able to get my bandages off and groaned.

Man, I've put that woman through a world of crap and having to see a body in a variety of stages of fucked up, fixed and healing that she has had to see... and to which I am bringing receipts for... not that I really need to have receipts with most of you anymore, but there are some that don't seem to grasp that I ain't full of shit and just making excuses, so... here are the receipts of my latest run in with the doctor.

Fortunately, he was kind enough to provide me with the images of the work he did, so not only do I have photos of the after-effects, I also have photos of him working inside of the shoulder... so... WARNING... the images that you are about to see (in the spoiler) contain graphic surgical scenes and the end results that some may find unsettling, DO NOT VIEW if you are sickened by the sight of blood or don't want to see the insides and outsides of this ugly, old ass of mine!

You've been warned!!

Explanation: In the following images you will see as they cut and free the capsule that had my shoulder frozen in place, as pin together my labrum to make sure that my shoulder remains in its socket, see them clean up the arthritis that was in the shoulder, see them repair the rotator cuff and finally cut part of my collarbone and insert a bracket that will hold my bicep tendon (which they had to stitch back together) in place...

Fun times.

Anyway, those were the deets, here are the images... during and after:

Wow, so many surgeries, my friend, you are a living marvel, and thank God for that. As Tim Allen said in Galaxy Quest, "Never Give Up, Never Surrender." I'm an old Marine and I'll never stop shooting until I run out of bullets. Then I'll probably pick up rocks and throw them. What can we do? It's our final act of defiance. They can send me to Hell, but Satan is going to be pissed seeing me.

We will no longer warn you of what will be sent and when, since we got reports (complaints) back of poor delivery guys being mugged in your neighborhood, but if the missus comes around with a contortion device for your neck and shoulders feel free to blame
c3p0 :p

For a slight change do take care of yourself for a change though and hope the physio is at least nice to look at besides a total torturer. :)

Hey, I still remember a book I read, it said that Death was a hot young(appearance and function wise) woman, with a body that wouldn't quit(Insatiable in relation to the main character)... Almost makes a guy willing to give up(Then again that MC told Death he'd see her later and had a long life... before meeting her again, and meating her for the rest of eternity.)
If Death comes for me, she better be the hot chick death!

Your thread is missing the guro tag.:p:devilish::geek:
Hey, tried to warn all of you that it wasn't pretty... but, yeah, kind of gruesome to look at right now.

Yeah, I am by no means done with the surgeries... spine and body breaking down and getting repaired is the future for me now.

Just kind of want the body to get with the program a little, so that I can have them a little better spaced out... like 1 surgeries every 3 to 5 years would be GREAT, rather than every year or other year.

I am ex-Army and I am the same way, I will give Life a battle it hasn't seen before and drag it down with me... tooth and nail.

Yeah, been taking it as easy as possible, right now... the pain from this shoulder surgery is worse than any pain I'd ever suffered from one before... which is strange, you'd think having neck and back surgery would be worse.

But, the wife said that the reason why I think it hurts worse is because I still keep trying to use the arm when I shouldn't.

However, I will now be on the lookout for the DHL, Fed-EX and UPS drivers and when I see them, will run away as fast as these legs can take me! :ROFLMAO:

If that is what Death is, sign me the HELL UP!!

My luck, it will be a grumpy old man... but if it is a hot, death chick, I am game and all for it (sorry guys)!!! :sneaky::LOL::ROFLMAO:
