If you're asking how it relates to the main plot, the answer is: it doesn't. If I'm not mistaken, it's an early work from the same dev, made as a way to learn how to use the tools.

Sweet story and nice setup. I haven't enjoyed a game like this in years. I hope it gets finished eventually.
