Lying, near scamming supporters, delays upon delays, stacked on more delays. He pretty clearly has SOMETHING going on, whether it is a legit mental condition, some form of addiction where he just has to keep this pitty train rolling to fund something, and he isn't honest enough to just get a legit job... IDK.
BUT..... I kinda want to keep clowning on him and watching this absolute dumpster fire glow brighter and brighter until it eventually explodes in a news worthy fashion. Kinda like watching a bullding collapse... It is tragic, and pretty horrifying.... but I just can't look away, and I secretly want a second angle.

I been watching this train go horriffcily off the rails for 4 years. At this point even BD releasing regularly wouldn't be enough. He even admitted he went to far with his changes to the models and wasting time with this florida trip. He would bascially need to start from srcatch.
Shame because before all this i actually really enjoyed this game.

Yeah, if I took that 3 minutes a day I spend typing in this thread and used it towards my studies I would totally have my doctoral thesis finished by now.
Now, I'm gonna go ahead and do something I've never really done in this thread and discuss my thoughts on the game itself, rather than its dev. WVM was one of the first Adult Visual Novels I ever played, and I enjoyed the shit out of it on my first playthrough. I tend to gravitate towards stories that are so off the wall insane that it's just fun seeing what kind of absurdity comes next. But more importantly than that, WVM was the first AVN I had an actual, honest-to-God emotional response to.
My childhood shares a lot of parallels with the MC from this game. Grew up dirt poor, unstable home life, sister that I would do anything to protect, and, unfortunately, a mentally and physically abusive father-figure. Hell, I even played basketball until like my sophomore year of high school (though I was absolutely trash).When the bowling alley shit went down in game, I was having a blast watching the absolute absurdity of this 18 year old kid walking out alone to take on a bunch of "mafia" goons. I was rolling laughing as Wendy shows up out of nowhere running mother fuckers over with their own fucking SUV. Shit was a riot. And then Wendy got punched, and MC fucking lost it. My first ever emotional response to one of these fucking games was having an anxiety attack seeing MC's (and by extension, because of the way these games are meant to be played, my) mom getting punched full force by a grown man.
Because of shit like that, I'm always going to have a soft spot for WVM and I honestly could never hate it. But at the end of the day, Braindrop is an absolute trash-tier dev who lies and backtracks constantly and I am absolutely going to be here whenever possible to watch this thread burn. Hell, I even bring marshmallows.
