At his stage I am convinced that most of them are Braindead themselves, not like they are doing anything else right now like working on a game. Just like all these low level posters singing the Dev's praises then leaving a 5 star review for a title nearly 2 years without any meaningful update.

"this is all on me"....were we supposed to blame others? If enough people are paying you enough to make like 200k a year for a game that has like 3 updates a year(shooting high on that number) why would we not blame you?

You know he's making things up because the original issue was Renpy compiling issues. Now since he's missed about 10 deadlines this month, he's gone back to the perfectionism/IRL issues.
I still believe what I said a few pages ago, he made Dionyx (and Mackenzie too) as alt's to take pressure off himself. That's his whole idea of using them to post updates, as a way to deflect. If people complained about the update, he simply could say "Well, this update wasn't meant to be released yet... but Dionyx had to..." but he couldn't bring himself to follow through.
So I do think he has severe perfectionism. But that doesn't excuse the constant stream of dishonestly, if not gaslighting. He just creates layers and layers of excuses/copes to kick the can down the road.

well almost everyone tries to convince him to bring the update out,but he is afraid that after all these delays and after 7 month of broken promises everybody will find the update boring and unintressting.
and he is afraid that nobody will like the deliah scene including the character deliah.
and they are pissed that he does not listen to some good advice some people gave him in discord.
some of it coming from other devs.
man that guy has a really really low self esteem there.
he don´t even trusts himself with what he ist doing right now.
or he is bullshitting everyone because he does not even has half of the stuff finished that he claiming he has.
and as usual irl is blowing up for him yada yada...
