If you already tried the reipatcher version backup your saves(although I believe the saves for that game aren't kept in the game folder so you may not need to do that) and delete the game folder and then start with a fresh version of the game files, and try the Bepin version you just have to install the correct Bepin version plug in first by adding it to the game folder then running the game once so it can set itself up it may take a little longer for game to launch due to this setip. then close game and add the bepin autotranslator files to the game folder and it should work if it doesn't you're probably SoL

It looks like a case of the font the game uses doesn't support all the characters for looks like Japanese or Chinese, I believe you'd need to try a font override to a font that supports the language. I've not had luck with trying to change aspects of a games font. Although, I've only tried to adjust font size to try and fix text running off screen. This could be a simple or very complicated problem to fix. I could also be wrong, this is just an educated guess from my experience with using text hookers for Japanese games, but typically when you see squares like that the issue is with the font not supporting what ever language it's trying to display.
