Yeah, my guess is that other things need to be completed first. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to suggest.

so they took out the free cam options during in-world stuff. feels like this game is regressing. probably would of been better to just do this as a full visual novel rather than try to mix gameplay styles, cause as is... it's a slog to get through the story, without any real feeling of progress or addition to the actual walk-around/in-world environments and details.

when I did Kraken event, I could get to Apartments finally
but...
but I did all the Angie's quest
and got this

but not even a single, flimsy scene with her? nothing?

Did you see any of the end-game stuff I described in this post? I can't remember if you get the message congratulating you on an ending before or after going to the MC's private island location. If this happened before then, I'd go talk to Angie and see if she will travel with the MC to that place. Make sure you have saved the game before doing that, because once you're on the island, the only way back is to load an earlier game.

What version are you on? Mine says talk to Mila after the competition but I can't do the competition yet so I figured you can't get that ending yet.

I haven't yet played this latest update yet, so I'm caught up through v0.21. The last I had in that version, you could talk to Mila in her office at the hospital during the day, then speak with her at her home at night, and finally get the ending. I suppose it's possible that some of what's been added in v0.21.5 might change that somewhat. I don't know for the latest update yet, though.
