The Dev posted that production was greatly reduced due to real life commitments like job and family. He suspended sub payment on Patreon. He posted the other day that he may be ready to finally amp up production and will post a general update on possible timelines. Honestly, if the Dev does the honorable thing and suspends payments because he cannot devote the time to the VN, he’s good in my book.Theres no way it takes this long for an update, the animations are mid at best

I do not understand. The dev owes nothing to pirate site patrons. He halted payment for two months because he knew he could not progress much on the story due to REAL LIFE commitments. He cannot be accused of milking because he didn’t get paid. I am a sub. It is not a lie.

You don't get paid monthly at the month end all at once. You get paid whenever the patron subscribes. So if someone subscribes on 18 Feb, the next payment will be 18 March.

For me the upcoming update will be the final deciding factor. If it's just a tease without any substantial action, then there's no point in waiting anxiously for a sneak peek. I'd rather let it unfold naturally without giving it too much importance. Overhyping something often leads to disappointment!!
It's glass half filled kind of situation..there are people who pay to get blue balls..so few are satisfied and others leave losing their hope after sometime. Like AWAM got around 4k+ subscribers for first 3 years...and around 2.5k+ constant paid subscribers just in patreon, other websites excluded for first 5 years....but it slowly wears down..now only those who love to be blue ball stayed. It's on individuals Different fantasies, different pace lovers. I guess now AWAM has 1.3k subscribers (both boosty and subscribestar) included, it get around 1.5k during update launch but yea out of 4k ,,,1,5k stayed those who love slow pace, blueballs. Price gone up for highest level of membership though. Reasons for high price justification might be different for different developer but that's the end result.
