I understand this is made for Windows and not MacOS. When playing it using the http-server solution on MacOS, saving and loading do not work. It the game is run with Wine instead, then save and load work fine. Just thought it might be something worth putting into install section or something for the other 4 MacOS users on this site... =p
is it possible for you to share the said version you play.Someone recently reprimanded me for why I was focusing on the older content in my walkthrough ans start the new stuff after that (and not quite voluntarily working with an outdated version) instead of getting the latest game version straight away and concentrating on the latest content. And once again I see someone here who is not yet familiar with the old stuff.
I think that answers the question.
And as I often notice, in the new game version there seem to be bugs in the code that affect the old content. Well, in my old version the old stuff works. And I am familiar with the bugs that exist in it.
In any case, both encourage me to keep going. The day will come when I'll be done with all the old stuff and can continue with tons of new stuff. And hopefully there will be various bugs been fixed, especially the one with John's forge

Can you screenshot the error?
Lately all my new runs have been started by helping out Penny up until the point before she asks you to talk to her in the field and branching out then. Not because I like her the most (but she's up there), but because she'll give you a good bed to sleep in right away and keep you occupied during the day on the field.
Kate and Emelyn can get pregnant and have babies.
Ayita, Bridget and Gavina can be impregnated.

Have you properly unpacked the game into its own folder before running the game?
For example this is what the folder properties should show you when the save folder has 0 files
Have you also tried moving the game folder closer to the root of one of your hard drives? Like C\Games\A Struggle with Sin?

Hotfixes:
Hotfix a: Fixed some wrongly triggered dialogs at the dwarven settlement, added in Chitin armor + bow (craftable at the workbench), added in option to upgrade the tainted dawnbreaker.
Hotfix b: Fixed freezy by getting stuck after fighting the dark elves, Fixed negative starting value for Ugotha's progression (won't work on saves that have completed the quest around the dark elves already)
Hotfix c: Fixed a problem with reordering the partymembers, fixed Snikka's sleep image getting stuck on screen

When the MC first meets Liandra in the cave he has an inner dialogue thinking if he should take her to Giron or the Camp.
After that he thinks of a way to prevent her from having sex with Dave. Then you must:
• Say to Liandra to stay in the cave for a while,
• Go talk to John to get a Chastity Belt,
• Then return to the cave and decide if you give Liandra the Belt and if you tell her about the Transformation Potion.
You had the Belt made and couldn't give it to her or you never made the Belt?

I can't finish the "Disregard the Threat" Quest. Arianna is nowhere to find in Darkwood near the ruins. I've searched everywhere..

Arianna only has one spot that you find her each day. Are you at that point, or did you talk to her, and then she went to hide?
You need to be more specific about the step you are on. The quest starts with you finding her at the spot, then she plays hide and seek with you, you do that a few times. Then you find her at the spot and she gets attacked by a werewolf. You battle the werewolf then you do some steps with Corwin. Then one last time you play hide and seek, where you are using her as bait. The party gets attacked, she gets kidnapped.
All of those steps include various forms of finding her near the ruins. But it sounds like you haven't found her starting tree yet?

Partly because saves could give access to paid tiers.
Partly because some people's saves are very old and personal with hundreds of play hours into them.
Partly because Im too lazy to give lazier people free stuff.
no matter how many times i replay the game, the control your lust quest is still the dumbest quest ever created by a game developer, i just can't remember how to get gwen out of her room
