Is it expected behaviour for the game to play the rpgmaker "error sound" and be unable to save when I press "z" or "enter" when in "memory"? I can't seem to save my game.

Check to see if the game is in a protected space, look to see if there are any special characters in the file path, if there is enough space on the drive you have it on, and if the game has appropriate file permissions.

Windows doesn't like things writing to areas like C:\Program Files. Try moving it to C:\Games
Sometimes a Spanish username, or other unicode characters, might cause issues if you're running it from your documents.
If the game doesn't have enough room to save it will error out.
In the event you are using multiple accounts make sure you have permission to write to the folder the game is stored in.

Feels like we really shouldn't be able to take on Meradis at this point, nevermind so casually. Far as the narrative paints it basically all our power is just Peter's whims and he's explicitly < her, so its really weird we can just beat up his strong boss using his power in like 5 mins

I don't disagree with you but

1. The plot isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's meant to be as over the top and ridiculous as possible

2. In spite of that, there is an explanation. The way Peter's power works is that when he gives it to a human they become stronger than he could ever be. That's why Peter can't go and conquer the world on his own. He had to rely on Max and then Raptor to do it for him.

We know that Max who was boosted by Peter's power was PROBABLY weaker than Sharolette. However, Peter also explains that Raptor, Cherry, and Sylvia all inherited Demonic power due to the situation with Max. This means that Raptor boosted by Peter's power will be even stronger than Max was during his prime.

It's unclear if Sharolette would still be able to defeat Raptor, but we at least see in the story that Raptor is strong enough to beat Meradis. Although Peter was worried about the outcome of such a battle, and it does require you to siphon power from both Polyquin and Merlin to be able to reasonably succeed. Meradis was underestimating what Peter and his new prodigy were capable of, because she wasn't expecting Raptor to be stronger than Max. And even Peter was underestimating what Raptor was capable of. He far surpassed Max, and even Meradis.

tl;dr

Raptor can beat Meradis for the same reason that One Punch Man can kill guys with one punch

It's really hard to pick favorites. Cherry is good, although in real life your bank account would probably get deleted in less than 2 days trying to support her spending habits. Pregnancy content is the most requested stuff in the game, which is why there's so much of it. But I also like it too, so I really enjoy adding new situations like that into the game.

Honestly, if I had to give a BROAD answer, I think my favorite thing about working on APC is when I try to make situations funny and not take anything too seriously. Being able to laugh while looking at porn, play along with the game instead of just watching random people have sex, having some kind of story but the story is meant to be funny, etc. is something that appeals to me a lot.

There are several new scenes that you can access by talking to Show Off, including new public sex scenes with her, updated text in her old scenes, her pregnancy can now be confirmed and she can give birth. She can also trigger a new Bath scene which allows Kath, Sylvia, and the Queen to all participate (Sagiri makes a cameo). On the subject of Sagiri, she's also got two new CG and some updated scenes + a new variant scene! The new variant scene works like the old Polyquin/Witch scenes, where Sagiri is now able to get pregnant and give birth or lay eggs repeatedly in the same scene.

Whew............... No, we're not done yet! I also expanded the Goldy Village map, added a Slut Ranch in the Goldy Village, and you can meet some characters there. By the way, if you're the one guy who requested that the Farmer's Wife gets some art, well, today is your lucky day! Because now she has art!

Not very many + the animations in the game are extremely basic.

Creating animation takes an unbelievable amount of work compared to a regular drawing. Since this game has no budget and wasn't expected to make any money, I decided early on that it would be better to get as many static CG and portraits as possible and keep animation as a very low priority.

That being said, while working on this game, I did learn a lot of tricks that can be used to turn a small number of frames into the illusion of halfway decent animation. I'll probably use that knowledge in my future games. My focus after APC is going to be making smaller, self-contained games with a higher and consistent level of quality. It would be worth investing into animation for those.

Long Press the Icon > Edit > Click on current type (It should be (RPG MAKER VX Ace by default) and change that to RPG MAKER VX then save.

The new game will be called Legend of Mountain Queen.

It's a reference to this old game called Legend of the River King, which is a direct influence on the new game I'm working on. I wouldn't really recommend going to play it yourself, the game is VERY dated at this point, extremely crude, but if you have played it before, you'll probably notice some of the similarities right away.

I've also talked about how Persona was one of the influences; The game will progress on a time-based cycle where the story advances as each day passes. During the day time you'll be able to do activities of your choosing, and then during night you'll be able to do an activity of your choice. Then it advances to the next day and plays any story scenes associated with that day.
