I have a free worker. I went through the Explain Mechanics on the Warrior Hordes Management Screen, but clicking on the text (any text?) does not result in the creation of a second horde.
Please provide a screenshot. Have you read the "explain mechanics" button for the scouts? You can't send more than one at a time. Perhaps you already sent one somewhere else?
You can visit Deirdra in the Chief's tent and get tips from her about civilized and barbarian points.
Right now, you can't raise warrior level.
There is an icon to take you to the quests screen on the village interface (at the bottom)> Then just follow the instructions for those quests.
Yeah, I figured out the Runestone already knew about the quests Icon, what I'm stuck on now is prestige. How do I raise my village prestige?
I don't know I don't know about the prestige mechanic in general nor how to check it, my population is static from this thread I can see that I'm supposed to fight a monster to increase it but aside from the ones that attack the village I don't see a monster on the map
Well, why don't you explore EVERY HEX available on the map? There are clearly marked with a red star. Then you'll see where the beast lies (in the Cold Moors).
And the village prestige is indicated on the village screen, it's a blue diamond at the bottom left.

The monster is near the village in The cold moors, hex B4. Simplest way to increase prestige is to upgrade the longhouse. See village management screen.
Cold Moors won't let me fight the monster, my prestige is stuck at 8

I misread/misunderstood the text, I thought that to have a building upgraded I had to assign workers to it, I assumed that the buildings that didn't have the option to assign workers to them were going to allow me to assign them were going to allow me to later, because I thought the game was operating under 'more people assigned to building, faster it will be upgraded' logic, but then after reading
I reread the message and realized all I had to do was make sure I had a worker who WASN'T doing anything, so if I wanted to upgrade the tavern for example, I should just unassign the person working there.
I made a lot of assumptions about how the system worked which lead to me thinking that there was a plot advancement point I was missing
zapallbugs Thanks for the tips. The only time that I see "Create a New Horde!" is when I'm going through the Explain Mechanics tutorial. If I click on it then, I just get the next step in the tutorial.
