There will be a Season 4, so just Season finale.

But DPC already confirmed that season 4 will be a lot different compared to the other seasons, so you can expect that episode 12 will close a lot plots and that season 4 will feel very different.

If you ask me, episode 12 will be the biggest episode so far, ok thats not really a surprise, but i mean WAY bigger (like two episodes at once). My guess is, DPC will close most of the open Plots. Or at least "solve" them so only a "epilogue" is left for them to see how everything goes after the plotline concludes.

So overall, episode 11 had 7000 renders, and i think episode 12 will have round about 10.000. And it will take more time to develop... half a year on top i would say. So... basically... 2 years from now episode 12 will be ready. MAYBE because christmas will still be a thing in the game (christmas eve is still in the open) DPC is aiming for christmas 2026, thats my optimistic guess if iam right about the bigger size of the episode.

But only if iam right about the size... otherwise it will be earlier. I wouldnt rule out a release in 2026, but if iam right about the size... early 2027 is more realistic... earlier would be optimistic as i said.

Good news _if_ iam right. Season 4 will be more kinetic, and propably shorter and faster developed too...

But like everytime... its only a guessing game and not even DPC can know how big the episode will be exactly and when it will be released... the only thing DPC knows for sure at this point is what AT LEAST will be in that episode, but so far he always added more to the episode than originally planned because of new ideas during the dev cycle of an episode.

This has been my thoughts for a while - though that may change depending on if anyone asks/what he answers in the next Q&A

Unfortunately, most if not all the open threads can be closed in the next episode (as much as fans don't like to admit this, it is a possibility) and anything else can be tied up in endings/epilogue whether he has left himself enough time or not to do it satisfactorily, I don't know. But episode 12 seems like a logical time to stop at least the "normal" type of episodes we get. It is the end of a school semester, it is the end of a season etc etc.

Only DPC knows for sure really, he'll have the script so he will know exactly where the choices end and the on rails bit begins, but even if he has gone over budget shall we say and the story is spilling into another episode I don't think he will make 12 bigger just so he can end perfectly.

The fact that she did not participate in earlier parties might be simply due to technical limitations. Rendering scenes with dozens of characters is usually avoided by many devs since it costs a lot of ressources. If DPC could only show a limited number of guests in a limited number of scenes, he probably would not create way more characters than he wanted to use.

DPC obviously has greatly improved the quality and output quantity of his render farm over the years so that he now can feature way more characters in (party) scenes which allowed to introduce more characters.

Adding new characters with each episode is also a good way to keep the game interesting and varied.

A lot of dormies where show at early parties, including Cyndi's ugly friend. She was just not going to their parties, that's about it.

Agree to disagree on this one, they looked more alike earlier for me. It's like Amelia and young Jill looking a lot like Mel.
I can see too many differences, but maybe it's only me if there's more people agreeing. Like eyebrows, nose and the cheekbones.

This is one of the biggest point of why I'm pushing so hard against the idea of DPC finishing the game this soon. I would think we would at least have 1 year of game time, we barely had any time passes in game.

Although the only reason why that could be so that I found reasonable is that's where Sage got her hate/disdain against strippers. Other than that is farfetched or just a coincidence (like how they both hold their hand the same way during Sage's romantic dinner if you also accepted Madame.

And that's assuming Miranda & Vivian are only 3 years older than Lynette. Now you're talking about a 15 year girl spending time with 18 year old parents at best. Biggest letdown of the new update for me. Many requested another scene with her yet we get another (imho not needed) Camilla scene. Worst thing about this? Ive waited 15 months without getting a reward and god knows how long it takes til ep12 (I guess the 2 year barrier might be broken) drops. But even then I'd probably be disappointed again.
