End the flashback and everyone is in the hospital with Derek and MC have that dumb, uncertain and thoughtful look in his face, maybe while scratching the back of head or have his arms dropped like he was tired, maybe thinking "I don't know what to think of this situation" because he is dumb (and it's not like he had a whole year of dev time to think about it). Maybe we will have our chosen LI on our side, maybe Bella won't be there.
