After Rio, I can no longer dismiss shit like that as 100% not happening. Only 99.99% not happening. But I am very confident it won't be anything along those lines. On top of being fucking stupid, more than likely destroying Bella as a love interest, and just way too melodramatic—even for DPC—he'd have to be a top tier writer to both pull it off AND still salvage Bella as a character. And he definitely doesn't have the chops for something that big.

Or (knowing MC) when on Bella's route he will feel sympathetic and sorry for her, and will love her even more because of it. He will however be disappointed/angry that this is another important secret she hid from him.
