Long distance relationships are hard, I won't deny that. But A) it might not be long distance,
There's a very good chance it WONT be long distance. Sage was obviously adopted by two teachers of B&R, so has obviously lived in the city/area for some time.

You an look at it with all the ifs and buts you like, but saying a relationship is doomed just because one of the party is leaving college is a little premature. Esp as the one who is leaving lived in the area anyway and if she really wanted to get way, wouldn't she had choose another college?

Any MAC user to help me ? I downloaded the game but i can't open it. Had no issue with ep10 or previous versions. It's not even the author autorisation causing issue, the finder doesn't let me open it at all.

Edit : downloaded the patch 0.11.1 and this seems to work. All good now sorry about that.

Unless there's massive time skips in Season 4, and DPC takes the pathing seriously, we're not even half way through the semester yet! MC is still a freshman, and the game will probably finish before the end of first year.

I can't see the Episodes in Season 4 showcase just those Main Path/Main Girls with huge jumps in time. Gotta Milk this as much as possible.

See, you're looking at it through a really cynical lens, like there's no point in telling Sage anything she deserves to know because "oh they'll probably break up after she graduates".

Like this, you make it sounds like MC should just fuck around while Sage is at work because there's no chance he'd get caught with her away, or he should dump Sage so he won't be starved of pussy for long stretches of time. Long distance relationships are hard, I won't deny that. But A) it might not be long distance, B) MC already knows what it was like and try to avoid the same pitfalls, C) MC and Sage are on the same page, unlike MC and Zoey a year ago. They want this to work, a family can be in the cards for them, but weighing the benefits of telling the truth about an ex wanting to get back together versus expecting the relationship to fail from the start like some business deal is not the way to go about it.
Nowhere did I say he was going to cheat on Sage. Maybe that can be inferred from what I typed. MC is 19 years old. I'm overlaying my thoughts based on real life. My only frame of reference. The reason it's rare for a freshman to date a senior is because of this exact situation.

Just because he doesn't cheat doesn't mean there's not a lot of pratfalls with a relationship like this. Overcoming the distance is one if it exists. Which it almost certainly will if he continues to live on campus. Also the time spent with each other is going to significantly decrease.

MC is a leader in a fraternity. Which has obligations of it's own. Sage could definitely attend the parties the DIKs throw. But anyone who has a job knows how difficult this will be to do & still do your job efficiently.

My point is there's no reason to cause Sage harm if there's no reason too. Even if they are going to have a perfect relationship, MC is going to be attending B&R with Zoey for 3 years at least. Sage has shown herself to have emotional issues & jealousy is one of them. With everything I've prefaced, how is Sage going to feel about MC attending parties with Zoey?

In your mind, MC can be completely okay with Zoey flirting & screwing other guys. But the reality is, he is not going to be okay with that at all. Maybe he will be.

But this confession & subsequent closeness is going to be on Sage's mind the entirety of MC's time at B&R when she's gone. He turned Zoey down. Confessed love for Sage. Bringing in conflict with his friend does him, Sage or Zoey no favors. My thoughts is just to wait to see how Zoey operates after being rejected. If she acts like Josy, by all means cut her off. But I believe patience is the right choice here.

Both Jade & Stephen work for B&R. If neither did, MC's interaction with them would be akin to his interaction with Jill's parents. I'm not saying long distance as in different states. But MC doesn't have a car, & he currently lives on campus in a fraternity. Sage will undoubtedly live off campus.

Maybe she decides to stay with either of her parents. But there's going to be a distance between them that doesn't exist now.

Well I've said this before... But we are alot closer to the end than people realise. It took 12 episodes to get through one semester. Our MC has got 7 more to go and one of our LIs is leaving school... Its not like there's another 84episodes of content there to get us to graduation..

This was never a story about our MCs full time in college, it was a story about a period of college. Just the first semester might be all we get.

Yes but that distance is unspecified, it could be a entire plane journey, it could be a short bus ride, heck it could even be a walk. Just cause one of the couple leaves college, while the other remains does not mean the relationships doomed.

I mean if they end up in the same town, which is likely, what changes? MC and Sage were in different years so they didn't share classes anyway, so they will continue not seeing each other through the day. Oh they may not be able to get lunch together anymore, but that's not out of the realms of possibility really. They will still be able to spend evenings and weekend with each other, which is pretty much the norm anyway

It's a good contrast with Jill's branch which is filled with big moments instead, like meeting her parents, her friends, going on a trip together, announcing their relationship to everyone, etc.
I agree, Jill's path as of now is equal in quality to Sage's, in development and elaboration, also DPC removed Jill's strange personality jumps, where in the second season she was too socially awkward that even reached the point of caricature perception. Now it's very good.

I think the gifts will wary depending on if you are in a relationship or not, but it's hard to guess.

I was thinking MAYBE if you are dating Jill she will give you Lanas old guitar, but it could be of too high sentimental value to her and her parents...

And in the Bella path the MC wished for a snowmobile so we can only pray for that...
Best Christmas gift Jill can give MC is a free pass to fuck Bianca...er...with Jill watching.

At some point DPC has to allow us to take control of MC's emotions and say our feelings for Zoey are over (or not depending on our choices). We're closer to the end than the beginning and I firmly believe this has to happen in the next episode.

I get that our MC has had feelings for the last 3 episodes (well all 11, but I mean since Zoey returned and brought them to the surface), but now we need to be able to decide if Tremolo still has these feelings for Zoey or not. Otherwise, pining for Zoey is going to hang over everything and what's the point of allowing us to shape the MC and begin relationships that we want.

If Tremolo spends the next 3 episodes having a sook when Zoey hooks up with someone else (if not on her path) that's going to get old really fast and it is not fair to whatever girl/s we have chosen.

See, this is cutting right to the heart of the matter. You believe there's no reason to, I believe there is. Sage is someone who values honesty, and with how much she and MC trust each other, it's akin to a lie to withhold this info. Same with banging Jade, same with what Chad did to Sage (she even says as much). It'll be a difficult conversation, but putting it off until there's some sort of opportune moment is a bad idea, because there will never be one.
The only girl development he dissapointed me is Josy, so I'm sure he'll do well.
I just can't see how. If it's too shocking (like Leah territory), he will end up ruining Bella entirely as a character. If it's underwhelming, like certain other cliffhangers, then all this build up was totally botched and a waste of time. A baby's room, that is reasonable to her character but not really to the cliffhanger and the Episode 3 library scene. On the flip side, a moderately shocking thing like... idk something implicating her in the illegal shit happening at B&R, that warrants the cliffhanger but is very easy to fumble character-wise.

Honestly, I'd rather keep my expectations low as hell so if he actually manages to do something interesting that doesn't destroy Bella, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

The room of the dead child, the lullaby and the memorial with the urn with ashes - the most realistic scenario in my opinion (I was joking about the pickled flask). It's enough to shock those who see it and not destroy Bella as a character.
James on life support won't destroy her as a character either, but it will give a new conflict "Is Bella ready to finally let him go?" and I would be interested to see that.

I completely agree with your thoughts. There has to be a point where the MC has to move on from Zoey if not on her path. But just thinking of where the story is going, I'm not sure if that's going to be entirely possible.

DPC forced MC to confess his thoughts to Zoey at the BBQ. Then reinforce those thoughts at her mother's house. Proceeded to most likely force Zoey into MC's life for 3 years with her attending B&R in the spring. And then had her confess her feelings to MC at the end of the panty party. None of those actions are in the player's control. Clearly DPC is looking to induce drama into whatever relationship the MC is in.

Maybe the end goal of all of that will be MC rejecting Zoey completely & accepting his relationship with his chosen love interest. I guess we'll find out over the next bunch of years.

I agree that a child memorial room is one of the most realistic assumptions and I'm going for that one as well. Only thing that doesn't fit with it are the shoes we can see. They didn't look the size of children's shoes to me.

The distance is definitely unspecified. But there's a reason all of Tremolo's closest relationships are with people tied directly with B&R. Besides Nicole & possibly Cathy, no other LI is untethered to B&R. Zoey is going to be going to the school soon. And if they don't attend B&R, they're teachers.
