This is the first time I have taken the time to review a game on this website, and I am sad to say that is because I was so disappointed in this game. I was really hoping my first review (and honestly most if not ALL of my reviews) would only be for positive reasons.

To start, I would start by mentioning a few quick things that bothered me. When it comes to gameplay, or playability, the game was not something new, or original, but instead a rehash of the game it was based on (which I think we aren't allowed to mention here by name...so we will just say "BB" and leave it at that). Unfortunately they didn't do anything make the game feel like the devs respect their players time (the grind was pretty bad, and the pacing was so miscalculated that at one point you could have everything available to you completed, and the next thing you need to advance was locked behind the passage of time until you reached an arbitrary number of days played), Add to that the sheer volume of scenes (or interactions) that you were forced to repeat, over and over again, but that there was no reasonable was to speed through (ctrling would just lead to some short animation, to time delayed portion, that made it feel unnecessarily taxing on your time).

OK, now that I got that part out there I want to mention that this isn't the first game I have played with these flaws, nor do I suspect it will be the last. The primary reason I feel this was worth taking the time to review was simply how misleading the OP this games thread was/is. I can't put into words just how much I wish I could have back the hours I spent on this game. After making a quick post about my disappointment I realized the official tags were more accurate then the OP (yet still not actually accurate, but accurate enough that I wouldn't have even bothered with the game), but it still feels dishonest, and misleading (possibly even more so since the official tags are more accurate).

Anyways, long story short, this game is actually fairly average, in may ways, but also in many was (including the one's I mentioned) EXTREMELY misleading, and dishonest. All in all I feel comfortable with giving it a one star rating, and putting it (and it's devs) on my "To Avoid" list.

This next parody took everything worst from the original, disfigured the character models, added cheap amateur animations that cannot be skipped, tons of empty chatter and offered nothing in return. Waste of time

Great looking game, with decent GUI...But I'm quitting after many hours of wasted time. Reading chat tells me that there are sex scenes at some point, but sounds very few for the time investment needed. Days and days go by in game clicking on each location screen looking for interactions and actions, but theres no indicators where and when these are ... And usually there is only one interaction somewhere for that day with almost no progress happening with any of the characters. So you'll click all seven locations, click wait, click all seven locations, wait again, over and over for the whole day and the only thing you'll see is repeated scenes like spying on someone in the shower. A quest line will be like "Get drugs...Give drugs to girl so she lets you see her boob...Get more drugs for her...Blackmail her so you can touch her boob...Do six other tasks over two weeks...Kiss her." I could literally get a tinder hookup IRL faster than I could have sex with one of these FANTASY women in a porn game.

I really wanted to like it, but it just seems like a time sink for very little payoff.

So, this game dives into the murky waters of NTR, a feature that tends to rustle some feathers in the gaming community. And to top it off, it's yet another addition to the Big Brother genre, making some folks roll their eyes faster than a teenager hearing dad jokes.

But hey, let's give credit where it's due. The CG is like the Picasso of adult gaming - seriously good stuff. And the characters? They've hit the salon for a makeover, sporting fresh looks that'll make you do a double-take.

Sure, it's not perfect. It's got more flaws than a cheesy pickup line, but hey, it's not all bad. Give it a whirl, you might just find yourself pleasantly surprised... or cringing harder than a dad trying to dance at a wedding.

This is a review of version 9.4 and I think this is a really good game. The mod to turn it into a VN is a must because the grind of the sandbox is bad.

I would like to see more sex scenes because the animations are really good and I like the characters.

I would love to see a side story of how Ann got with Eric because at the beginning of the game she finds out her husband died and now she is his side piece. Plus having more sex scenes of Ann would be great.

This game is more for people who love being cucked, everyone else would not really find it a pleasant experience since you have no other choice then being cucked by eric. It's not a challenge against him who can buy alice the dress first who can then have influence over her, it'll always be eric who get influence no matter what you do.

Visuals are good but could still be improved, animations look very good.
But like always the story is at best medium, same old just in space. That you often need to skip nearly a whole week also doesn't help.

    cockcockcockcockcock

    A frustrating game.

95% of this game is just to click on different areas in hope for new scenes.

The game works pretty much like this:
    • You've got 7 different locations that you can click on. The usual stuff... The bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, pool, etc.
    • The game shows you which characters are in which location.
    • You click on a location with a character in it, and you MIGHT be able to engage with this/these characters, but often there's just a static character there that you can't engage with AT ALL.
    • Often, at a given time of day, there are no characters to interact with, so you skip one hour ahead and check the different locations. And if you're lucky you might be able to interact with the character and watch a scene....HOWEVER, you're probably not THAT lucky because there's a very high chance that you've already seen it before.
So, in summary, the rhythm of this game is to:
    • Click on locations with characters in them.
    • See stuff you've already seen.
    • Progress time.
    • Click on locations with characters in them,
    • See stuff you've already seen.
    • And so on....
    • Every once in a while a scene will be somewhat altered, or you'll get a completely new scene. But this is after wasting a WHOLE LOT OF TIME!
A very easy fix would have been for the devs to:
    1. Only show us the location of characters we can interact with.
    2. Colour-code locations with unseen scenes or scenes with updates to them.

Its totaly the same as original game, just cosplayed in space setting. All the worsest things as grind, replay a hunderds of times same events to progress, unavoidable ntr, which had original BB were transfered to this game. All what was writen in dev notes about "a fresh new take on its story and new opportunities" is straight lies. All the events and progress with charachters are completely the same.

MC still made artificially underdog to the family, they are constatly mock, despise and belittling him just because. Alice rude to MC all the time without reason, Ann still hapilly spread her legs for Eric and scolds you for every little thing. All Li's highly unlikable except for Lisa, but shes sometimes mistreat you too.

In all sence this game as bad as original for people with self respect and who despise ntr and humiliation. You play as pushover who helps his ignorant and hypocritical family with anything just to get his miserable sloppy seconds after other alpha males who fuck them without problems and drama, but you as underdog need to endure all of it.

Very good game, although it is a recycling of the original BB, LFG gives it its own creative touch in an intergalactic setting and makes it a new and enjoyable experience of a good Netori game (we are the ones who stole Eric's wives)

This game has NTR and this pisses many people. Adding on top of that, this a Big Brother game, and people are tired of seeing these remakes(inspired games).

    The game is quite good.
    CG looks good.
    Characters carry new looks.

Could be better but it's not a bad game.

very little content despite being 0.7. Models are nice, the clothing is nicely made and detailed too. But the amount of time you spend skipping time, the repetitive scenes, and the lack of things to interact with all make this a waste of time to play at current version.

Hopefully future updates will add content to interact with while waiting between days, because at the moment this game feels like a stretched VN

Although there are many big brother spin offs, this one is one of the best! Good renders and story line. The only thing I would say is some of the progression is very repetitive like a chore. It takes a very long time to progress certain things like massage scenes.

good game, with exelent rendering and an exelent "big brother" story and the wink to the original game are welcome.
the gameplay is reminiscent of the original but less repetitive and easier to follow.

that moment when your dear sisters prefer to be fucked by an alien than by your (slave) brother who does everything for them, even suffers from blackmail to get something to please his sister, and even in the space where there is absolutely nothing that stop you from carrying out your fetishes with your sisters, it's not like a police force would appear out of nowhere to tell you that what you're doing is wrong, right? , we're in space, and yet, all your sacrifice comes down to "you better stop or I'll tell mom" ok ok... how old are we right here? because for sure when I was around 5 or 6 I would say that haha, the worst part is that even your aunt says she's going to "tell mom" haha ok... taking into account that I don't give a fuck about NTR and see my mother get fucked by a despicable alien after our mother treated us so badly and unfairly, seeing her taking one becomes something pleasurable haha, the twin sister (who appears to be a little younger mentally) is the only one in my opinion that is most worth it there , but let's leave EVERYTHING aside and focus on the mechanics.... I swear I've never had to "SKIP" so much in a single game, just to get to an event.. and if we look at it properly, there isn't even that much mission like this, what makes the game long is watching the same dinner scenes... swimming pool... drugged sister... sleep... set the dinner table, get a little blackmail... and stay in the loop , if we take that away and just see the content without repeating it, there isn't that much, so what kills the game for me is the fact that you have to skip a lot of days to get to something new.

    Scubatropin

In the game, it gives you certain percentages of whether you are going to succeed or not and there were times at 80%, I was not succeeding and going backwards with the girls. In this game, you repeat the same events over and over again with little change. Even after you've maximized certain attributes of the women, they still apparently don't let you do things and it begs the question, "okay, I've maxed out that attribute, we're in space, is she just frigid or what?" So its a lot of grinding for very little advancement. I feel that the developer wanted to maximize a small amount of programming and quite honestly, its more like a "demo" at this stage. You won't have intimacy with any of the women, except in your dreams.

    Harem Trooper

It's Big Brother...but in space, hence the name. If you hated the original, you will hate this even more. If you liked the original, you will like this since the main premise is NTR since even in 0.6.6 Mom still bangs him and it's all about MC helping the guys out who blackmails him in the first place. The typical go-around again is that "She/They are not with MC in a relationship yet". So NTR is NOT avoidable.

Most of sex scenes are focused on Eric and your mom while the “gameplay” shows you as also being the typical creepy guy in between the days with the girls. If you thought that the girls fall in love with MC I have to disappoint you since the thing they fall in love is the drug. The only change here is that Eric also has three wives… Content wise for theMC is… pathetically low. What the priority here is obvious so the question if it's worth playing on the non-pseudo-NTR path is given, therefore a clear NO. And don't let me start with the LI here. If you couldn't stomach this, and also don't like Pornstars, Prostitutes, E-thots then there is nothing more I can say as to look for something else. Paths does not exist here in comparison to its predecessor but you have "missions". Basically these are you story progression on a railway track which gives you the illusion of choices. It goes not well because its a sandbox. It should have been a kinetic novel since it plays like one but with grind, which sadly the sandbox always comes as a package.

Originally I believed what the Dev promised regarding the avoidable stuff but once again it was a lie. The grind is not that awful compared to all the other BBs, so at least that's where it can shine to his counterparts. And this is the only objective praise I can give which is not much with these models working around.

You still will click hundreds of times through the icons to progress, you still will repeat all the various activities with the girls multiple times, but you have a hint system to support. And it gets tiresome pretty quickly:

Wake up, click through the different girls and see if there is Dialog possible. Yes ? Click on it. No? Click through every hour and also click on every girl until you have to do dishes. Wanna creep on the girls in the shower ? Back again to click through the different girls and see if there is Dialog possible. Go to sleep. Repeat that for the rest of the game. For the first complete run it took me about 1 ½ hours and 65 in game days to finish the current content…while actually you could press this in a VN and have 10 min of reading.

And all while this the lack of “story” gets stretched even thinner the more you progress. I'm aware that BB is not known for its story or characters…but here we have something new and unique and nothing is done with it. The lack of any background music or sound effect doesn't help much here either.

great take on big brother, as long as the dev keeps up this will be the one to watch. story is about caught up with minor changes that make sense for the situation. animations are good some things are a little wonky but those will iron out as time goes on.

man, i just love Big Brothers :). This one has animations and they're good too. Love the arts, girls are very sexy. It has the same elements of the other version of the game but in space. Looking forward for the rest :)

    Master Bates Games

This isn’t “just another Big Brother clone” like some would think. It does follow a lot of the same basic story ideas being a “Big Brother” game, but there’s a lot that’s new as well.

Something that’s different and needs to be made clear is that the characters are NOT related and were never intended or written to be related.
This somehow became an issue for the developer due to an unofficial fan made “incest” patch being made available and a malicious person reporting their Patreon page.

I’ll also just get this out of the way:

The dev’s statement that “NTR” is avoidable is not misleading or a lie.

Because Ann is not a “love interest” at the start of the game, her having a boyfriend is not “NTR” by itself and until Eric starts trying to steal an ACTUAL love interest away (for example if he tries to interfere with Max once he’s trying to get together with Lisa) or starts turning the other characters against Max it won’t be.

    STORY

The story is basically that the crew of a ship called the U.S.S Nostromo had to be put into stasis after a “hyperdrive” failure and was discovered by aliens over 200 years later. They wake up aboard a “Federation” space station where “Eric” (who I believe gets his name from the “records” aka the game found on the ship’s computer) greets them.

The original “Big Brother'' game itself is a part of the story as the “aliens” found it on the computer of the ship. They based the living quarters and bedroom arrangements off of it, to the annoyance of Lisa and Max.

The story follows a similar path but one thing I can say is that it’s not “the exact same” thing but set in space.

    CONTENT
The game is still very early in development so at the moment there’s not a ton of content yet, but what’s there is good. There are a good amount of cool ideas that I look forward to seeing being fully implemented in the game. There’s not much in the way of sex scenes yet, right now (as of v0.5) the only full on sex scenes are Ann and Eric on the path where Eric comes to visit.
    .
But there are some scenes with Alice and Max, and the upcoming version (0.6) will have scenes with Kira. This stuff takes time and rushing the story content won’t make it better.

There’s also not the massive amount of grinding that you usually see in games like this, Max can increase his stealth and charm stats. But you’re not repeating the same thing nearly as much.

Instead of the usual “hidden cam” setup there is a secret group that calls themselves “Big Brother” that gives Max things to do as well as helps him get things to fight against Eric.

This is more of what the “Big Brother” title is going for with this game, the hidden group controlling things behind the scenes. Currently there’s no “money” in the game so this is how you’re getting some of the items you need.

Max gets an item that he can use on the characters that will trigger some different scenes. This should be expanded on in future updates. He can also use it on himself to trigger some cool dream sequences.

There were some minor bugs/issues with some objectives being unclear but that’s been updated and fixed.

    GRAPHICS
The character models and designs look really good and I even like some of them more than the original ones.

Since I’ve seen this brought up a few times: The characters in this game are also NOT the same characters as in the old/original Big Brother game. That’s why they look completely different..

There are some animations but you shouldn’t expect a game like this to be “fully” animated anyway.

The environments are also nice with good renders, although at the moment you’re still restricted to just the living quarters on the station so the variety is a bit limited.

I’d imagine in the future Max will be able to leave and explore the station though.

    CHARACTERS
The main cast is definitely meant to be familiar to those that have played Big Brother.
Max is a perv who spies on the other characters. He can also be renamed if you want.

Lisa is sweet and innocent, she starts going to school on the station where she’ll meet Olivia.

    Alice is Alice.
She’s classified as a “drone” and is considered useless, but then again so is Max.

Ann was the wife of the captain of the Nostromo as well as the XO (Executive Officer), which was found by the aliens while they were in stasis. The rest of the main characters (Alice, Lisa and Kira) were part of that ship’s crew. She is still overprotective of Lisa and way too willing to get into a relationship with her boss.

Kira is still everyone’s favorite pervert that definitely wants to fuck Max and will help him with Lisa. She was the pilot of the Nostromo and appears a bit later on.

“Eric” is the administrator of the station the characters are now living on.
The way he’s handled is quite a bit different in that you can choose whether or not you want him to come for dinner/visit Ann at night.

He’s still involved in the story, sometimes more than before and with things that might surprise you (and make getting rid of him more satisfying), but you can keep him away as much as possible until the game’s development progresses to the point of being able to remove him entirely.

This game being set in space and in the future should bring about some creative ways to make that happen, which I look forward to seeing.

There are several new characters in the game, of various species with some interesting sexual details unique to them

Some characters based on ones from the original are both similar in their personalities but also much different in other ways that I won’t spoil.

It’s going to be interesting to see how all of that works out.

    CONCLUSION
This game has a lot of potential and is already bringing several new ideas to the typical “Big Brother” type of game. It’s early on and has a long way to go to get to the good stuff, but with the new game play mechanics allowing variations of scenes and interesting interpretations of old characters it’s already getting pretty good and should only get better in the future.

    Also…
    Fuck Eric!
    (I had to.)

If you do play it, and you liked the original game and you don't mind playing it all over again, you will most likely enjoy yourself. The out-of-space setting allows some deviation from the original and the Dev is starting to explore this option. Unfortunately, he sticks very close to the BB opportunities and chose to use different models. Whereas they are nice to look at as well (except Kira), it feels strange to read the familiar names Lisa, Kira, Alice.. but see different faces.
