I don't know that the dev would have made it that way even without Patreon's rules, and Patreon has already hassled him over the patch that was on this site before thanks to some vindictive asshole that reported his page for no reason.

The game is being written as if they're not related anyway so better to just not worry about it.

Full disclosure regarding any patches - as I tried to explain to Patreon staff it's a RenPy game, which is basically open source, so everyone with any minimal knowledge on how it works can modify it and create patches. The main issue for them was that there is a patch that didn't comply with their rules in the first post and my Patreon page was also liked in the same post. I had to chose if I ask the staff of F95 to remove the patch or I would be forced to change my Patreon alias so it was no longer whatever was linked here which would basically cut off any support for the game. The nice people at F95 agreed to remove the patch from the first post together with any "incest" tags from the game page, so it doesn't violate their rule of not having an incest patch in the same post as the link to my Patreon page. Anything else below that is out of my control.

Before any of you start explaining how I should ditch Patreon and move to Subscribe Star - my account there is stuck in limbo for over half a year now.

The only change would be MC refering to Ann as mom. There would be nothing natural, if original game replaces mom with more neutral noun to please censors. Ann would continue to refer to MC by his real name. In my world only mother, father and grand parents deserve to be called not by name. Brothers, sisters or children are called by their names and almost never given their relative status in talks.

Patch won't be inventing extra dialogs where MC tells to his sisters, aunt or mom that there is nothing wrong with what they are doing. Such dialogs would be out of place in non-incest game.

It is big brother game. Five adults live in same location. Two are older than other three (not old enough to make some Colorado residents proud). Some still go to school, but they all are older than 18 (don't fact check me on that). The only things that would make them more related is for them to start referring to themselves as brother/sister/mom/aunt and MC move to live in basement. Your head can assume that they are related and dev can have plausible deniability by not referring to them in that way in any place in game.

Or you want to be like those other Twichies that keep asking for Android.

I believe you (and others) are misinterpreting "Big Brother" by taking it too literally.

That phrase in the title (as well as the name of the shadow organization by that name in the game) is a reference to an IRL "reality" TV show by that name, which in turn is a reference to the authoritarian leader in the dystopian novel 1984 by George Orwell. Big Brother in 1984 is a self-proclaimed benevolent dictator (technically a dictatorial ruling class) who watches over everyone and is aware of pretty much everything everyone does, and more or less provides for everyone, but is also a strict disciplinarian... sort of like a literal "big brother" who is protective and also a bully. Another example of the "Big Brother" concept is the movie The Truman Show, where the billionaire show creator/producer Christof, and the show's control room staff who work for him, are collectively "Big Brother".

The reference really has nothing to do with incest in the literary sense that is the intended meaning.

None, the Alpha and Omega are the only "missable" quests as it's just whether or not Eric is around. All other content is available no matter which you choose.

Omega is the "dumbed down" version of Alpha. I need it to keep both storylines in sync until you get to the point where you can get rid of Eric. Currently Omega doesn't have events that are not in Alpha, so apart from the dialogue, you haven't missed anything. Just a few story renders which are basically the same as in Alpha but without Eric.

If you can draw 2d stuff, it's even possible to add different style for the images - after all it will be some kind of "flashback" so anything goes there sylewise.

I'm glad there are more allies against him in this game, I'm sure "Big Brother" (or Karen heh) will be a big help if he does something stupid lol. Though just with what he's let Max do so far Ann would probably flip out.

Alright, here it is - the renders for the new Kira's event are done and... I'm starting to fix those that need to be fixed. Like the image above which has a clipping issue between your feet and the floor . Even though I should be used by now, I still feel stupid that I didn't notice it before rendering.

Also the fact that these are actually two images that need to be re-rendered (one with Kira's wet skin and one with dry skin) that are combined to result in Kira being covered in drops only from the shoulders down, does actually make it even worse...

I've always found it strange how late in the game the yoga event with Ann came into play in the original BB. Whatever the reasons for this, in BBIS things will be done differently. It's absolutely possible to have some event with Ann doing yoga (plus some additional stuff if she's under the influence of the drug), so I've decided to do it. Of course you shouldn't expect much since your relationship with her is not there yet, but it's a start.

As for the change of plans - I think you'll like it. I've decided to split the release of 0.7 in two. Since it will contain mostly that one big Halloween event and a few new events and extensions of existing events, it makes no sense to make you wait for the end of October to play though those. So I'm going to release a new not-so-minor (7 events with over 130 new images and animations) update at the end of August with all the smaller events and then I'll start working exclusively on the big Halloween event.

I see that a lot of games here that have the 'incest' tag as well, so it's not about what is in the game or not, it's about what someone decides to report. I am not going to overcomplicate my code, just to make it somehow work for all the different "relationships" anyone can think of.

A smaller update is definitely better than having to wait, and from the sound of it that Halloween event is gonna be a lot of fun.

The yoga scenes have a lot of potential for fun as Ann gets closer to Max (and especially once Eric is gone, which I'm sure no one will ask about when that update releases /s).
It's always fun to see how the characters act differently while on the drug (especially Alice lol), so even if it's not much I'm still looking forward to it.

I hope at some point (maybe while on the drug or at least once she's open to the idea of fucking) Ann starts talking to Max like she talked to herself during that voyeur scene, like telling him if she was him she'd want to fuck her too.
