Don't know how the grinding in this game is "just as bad" as the other BB games, you don't even need to grind money in this one and Max's stats aren't as important so far.
There is some repetitiveness but that's always gonna be the case and I've seen that "endless" thing happen when another event isn't quite finished and the new ones won't trigger. Don't know if that's happening to people now though.
I'm gonna play the update tonight, I just wanna see Olivia again lol.
I can't remember exactly how long it takes Eric to start coming around in this one but you can choose whether he comes and visits Ann or not (that's the Alpha/Omega path choice.)

Kira comes around after a few weeks like in the original, I believe she's quarantined for a while.

Hrumph.... I installed lates version and as the midget said "I aint happy"... All my previous saves had todays date and time and its telling me there are no new opportunities.
Don't know what would cause the date and time thing but the only new opportunity is Schoolmate, which started fine when I talked to Lisa.
I assume the other ones trigger the next steps on certain days or something.

I've tried downloading from multiple sources and none of the android files are working. They all come up as an invalid package.

For 0.6 I updated the Renpy version and this might be the reason why the Android build is broken. I'll try to build with the old RenPy SDK but I'm not sure it will work

OK, so this is a bug with the requirements of the event - initially Karen was supposed to always be with Eric and Ann in the bedroom, but then I decided to reorder her schedule to accommodate a future event with Eric and Karen while Ann is taking a bath and this timeslot ended up in this broken state. I'll look into making just a patch because I don't want to upload >2GB of each build again just for this, but if I can't it will be left for 0.7

Oh, and you said you updated to the newest Renpy.
I tried something since the new BBAS rebuild version has this problem. I edited a save file (just increased charm by one) and tried to load it, it doesn't work even if I say yes just like the other game.
I don't know if an unedited one would still work though.

I've tried reloading a save from someone else and it showed a warning, but still allowed me to do it. I've always wondered why would you need to edit save files when you can enable debug mode with UnRen and work with the console?

Something is messed up on your side. Did you unpack the zip file in a new directory or did you overwrite your old one?
Laziness mostly lol.
It's not that big a deal really, at least for this game where there's not that much to cheat (compared to other BB games/etc) anyway.
I actually have the same thing happening with the time/date stuff, in a new folder.
The saves loaded fine though and I was able to play it no problem.
