Ren'Py - Big Brother: Ren'Py - Remake Story [v1.07] [PornGodNoob]

As others have said this is still the best way to play Big Brother, I don't see any benefit to playing the original when this has the entire base game ported over. can't speak on the extra content as I'm not big on ntr, but the fact that we have a completed version of this game in renpy, with all the mechanics and branches working is an amazing feat from the developer.

NOTE FOR NEW PLAYERS: I strongly recommend keeping NTR turned on, even if it's not your thing. Disabling NTR will lock you out of progressing and completing many of the original quests later on. This wouldn't be a problem if it only removed the quests that were purely NTR-focused, but it doesnt. You'll miss out on a lot of the original content, and since you can't reenable this option you'll have to start over.

I'm not really understanding the hype this game has built up. Maybe it's because it's old and used to be good?

It's slow and clunky and the entire game is set back by having to do very specific things at specific times of the day, many times over, AND an absolut god-awful cash management system where you constantly have to invest money in advertisements to slowly slowly get money and then you have to buy tonnes of really expensive things to make the story advance.

Just not good. It gets a 3 because it of hot renders.

A very well made port of the original. Easy to play. The game gives you the illusion of having choices but only 2 or 3 really matter. But still all in all the game has good renders and a well written story butt I wished the BDSM/Dom storyline got a little more care.

Good NTR content (at least for the path I followed, basically tried to make the MC lose).

Does a good job of balancing between the villain (Eric) outright winning and the protagonist winning -- one I was quite happy to see was Eric turning the tables on the protagonist at some point of the story.

However, there's several continuity issues throughout the story -- some female characters are shy to do something when they've given up a lot more earlier. Also, some of the hints are a little confusing.

The worst part is probably the pacing and grind -- some of the requirements force you to skip DAYS just to get to the next "phase", but I do appreciate the tracking of each "quest" that made it more obvious. The grind is probably the worst part -- otherwise, I did enjoy the story and the CGs

Best big brother of them all. Continues the game with new and actually super well done renders. NTR path for those who enjoy it. Simplified UI in many instances. This is the only big brother to play imo

With the best will in the world it hard to recommend this. The game is just one grindy clickfest, relying on rng, or very specific moments to do one thing.
If you don't have carpal tunnel before you play this you will have it after!

1. Gameplay is 0
2. poorly set plot. (many actions mixed up in the wrong sequence). the girl will give you a blowjob but she is afraid when you see her naked. etc. There is much against common sense.
3. short scenes.
4. unnecessary repetition of plots. Mother handjobs son 170 times and still no blowjob. It is cruel nonsense.

Overall. The game could easily compete with Man of the house or Being a dik, unfortunately not in this state. Fix cutscene transitions and player rewards. Add more dialogs. More ways to earn money, including mini-games The plot of the game is exciting, but before you get the hang of it, it quickly kills you with repetition. You can punish Alice daily. why? etc etc Well, it disappointed me.

Renderings are of high quality, sadly there are no animations.
Dialogues are pretty long but mostly story relevant and sex scenes are ok they could be more hot and have better angles.
It's good enough to be replayed, so 4 stars for that.

Terrible. This is not a game. This is not even a story. It is some bullshit AI generated text with a few images. This project is devolving. Better not add this to the base game. Stupid slide show with extra steps.

I love it. The time has flown by so quickly. The integrated walkthrough is super helpful. The user interface is tidy. I would have liked a bit more animation and music, but great work. I am eagerly awaiting further development.

Another remake but still very good, it start to get boring since every remake have same events with same characters.
Could be great game but most likely it will get tiny updates and after 3 years when it start to get really good - another remake.

So far only thing other that REMOVING ERIC i would like to see changed is skills level up locked behind event that kinda kills sandbox part of the game.

Funny enough i did enjoy the story but on the normal none ntr path, the problem is the big grind and absolutly waste of time doing the sandbox aspect, it gets even worse as you come along since with small content updates you dont have much to do then maybe 1 or 2 quests where you need to wait days between progress, so all you do is sit and spam a skip time button which is pointless and has no meaning.

And for whatever reason this game is apprently only going on with NTR route so thats game over for me playing it, what is even worse is that you play it for a very long time and might want to finaly get together with the little sister but that will apprently never happen in normal route, since i am at the end of 1.05 and little sister is still a virgin and this is how game will end, so i really cant recomend a game that waste so much of your time to give 0 rewards and finish without a ending of any kind.

Game arent animated either which makes it a bit boring and its silent as well meaning no music so there really isent any reason to play this.
Maybe if you are into NTR since that route seems to be only valid choice if you want to see the game finsihed some day, but for me it can only be a 1 star game due to the facts ive explained here.

Too much grind for no reason. The game forces you to skip hours at a time, then days at a time just to progress the story along. The money earned needs to be at least tripled as all it does is add more grind to the game. You'll need to use the mod to actually enjoy the game. On the flipside, the graphics are top notch.

I just love this game. Great renderings, interesting characters, and the story is quite cool. Thanks to the detailed walkthrough, the game is easy to play. In the beginning, the money is increasing slowly, but now I am earning so much that the money is not decreasing, but on the contrary, it is increasing.

It would also be interesting if the main character could look at places other than just the house and Erik's apartment.

However, it would be nice if the updates came out more often, but the game is still great.

I enjoy sharing/swinging games but games with the right investment in characters and dialogue make even NTR and/or cuckolding games enjoyable. I am enjoying all of the updates to this and would recommend it to anyone that has a wide variety of tastes in relationships, i.e. family units engaging with each other, and good DAZ (or whatever is being used) artwork.

Out of all the bb clones this one really only has one route, the NTR route, and it SLAPS best forward content ive seen so far in any bb game its not limiting great guides a lot of scenes and pleanty repeatable content 5/5 for me

This one is for the ones that like a challenge with Eric. Honestly so much content and in my opinion the best of the big brothers. I like the new twists here and there, I just wish Camera content was available. some day I hope.

I believe it is objective to say this version is a huuuuuuge improvement built on the original game, it gives a crystal clear guide to every step of the game and much, and an overall view of your progress on this game. It gets of some of the unnecessary grinds to make the gameplay A LOT more reasonable. It basically holds your dick and points to the correct direction then fap for you, so be grateful to the author.

An overall solid narrative and artistic vision for a game hamstrung by poor UX issues.

Artwork is as good as it could get without venturing into that "above and beyond" territory, models are crisp, could use more animations but those in place are usually quite good.

The sandbox layout is heavily benefited from the inclusion of an in-game walkthrough, though at times it feels like it'd be better served to cut out the middleman and just be a visual novel on rails - since many of the events depend on each other.

The UI itself looks crisp, however the actual navigation leaves much to be desired. For example, many of these grind-sandbox games involve long periods of day skipping, especially in the late game. A 4 hour skip button is provided here in addition to the single hour, however, there are far too many mini-daily events (things like sister who stays in your room closing the door to change) that yank a player out of spamming the skip button when they need to go forward days upon days.

Long story short, the grind is bad and the tools for dealing with it are bad.

Everything else about the game is pretty darn good.

if you are expectig its can be new scenes or new something you will get disappoint and its grindy as fuck like original game uctually its most grindly game ever so you give get disappoint for sure well i just was expect they maybe change or make shorter grindy things but no its still take long long long time to grind
