Romance just didn't work after all stuff that happens, unfortunately.
Well, it was a bit too weird to write romance story after anal with Lisa.
What can I say... I can understand your point of view, but it was quite hard to write script. Thats it.
You do of course realize that saying these things is sort of admitting to everyone that your mindset is the issue here not the game itself right? (I'm not saying that as a criticism just a statement of fact here)
It was weird to you to write romance after anal but it wasn't weird at all to have experimenting teens do anal as their first sexual act? Hell even Married couples take years before they even attempt anal for the first time to change things up.
I get it that you thought it was a good way to maintain her virginity as a prize later on but the truth is you should have reversed the sexual encounters of Lisa and Mom so that Lisa was the one not willing to go beyond the BJ and Mom the one who allows Anal because it is pregnancy proof and she has probably already done it plenty of times with Eric.
Water under the bridge I suppose...
Part of the issue people here are having is the fact that there isn't much difference between the various characters in your story. They either like to Dom or Be Dom'ed and while they may enjoy the sex the truth is they tend to think of Max as a walking Dildo more than any serious lover. Fuck me and LEAVE attitude is the norm. The fact they are related is almost never brought up during the sex which is one of the most important kinks of the Incest genre.
You would have fewer complaints and have fewer issues branching out from the story, if you had assigned different relationship roles to each woman from the start. Take a cue from a game like Man of the House where the Mom is the lonely conflicted woman who has self doubt and guilt about being attracted to her son and having her lust overcome those inhibitions, The Older sister who prefers being submissive and despite early antagonizing of the MC gets blackmailed and realizes her excitement to be controlled. And the younger sister who just is obsessed with sexual desire and wished to experiment and chooses her loving brother to explore sex with a safe loving person.
As it stands the game is more of a CONTROL play than an Incest game. Those women being related to Max seems almost incidental as the turn ons for each seem to be which side of the Control angle they are on. If what you say is true about adding some romance then you still have one character left to write romance for...The Mother. They haven't had Anal or played the control game yet but you did hint that it was on the way after she does her next role which is a BDSM Movie. So you have already planned to remove any way to write romance for her as well.
I think you have to realize that the reasons you are having trouble putting some relationship variety in the story is due to your constant use of DOM/SUB and BDSM as a vehicle towards sexual encounter.
In a sense this is much more a BDSM genre game than an Incest game, and that is why you are getting the complaints you see here...We all played this game because we thought it was an incest game but all we have gotten really is a Power Play Control game instead.
One last note...After teasing everyone that dating with Lisa was going to happen You went and made an entire location and scene for dating and only then, halfway through it did you realize that it wasn't going to work for you so you changed the script mid coding and turned an attempt to make a romantic scene into nothing....a Worthless scene! If you saw it wasn't going to work you should have removed it from the game instead of torpedoing it mid way through the scene. It was this tease that we would get some romance only to find out halfway through it that it was not going to happen that has caused many of the folks who asked for and thought they were getting romance to turn on you.
You would have been better off just omitting that entire scene if you saw half way through it wasn't going to work for you.
