TL;DR
I have a soft spot for the developer of Blazing Aries and Battle Princess Lacia. Download, try it out, see if you like what it's presenting, and if not it's a smaller game so you can move on easily by deleting it. It's not at all perfect and I would call it a higher 3/5, much better than plenty of RPGs on F95 but not good enough to consider a "gem".
Also, if you do enjoy it, note that the developer did basically everything but better in Princess Lacia, so consider it analogous to something like Ambrosia and Celesphonia. Very similar but one just beats the other out in terms of gameplay/content.
Longer Version
Blazing Aries has a pretty simple but decently developed story and I appreciate the developer's bubbly writing. One thing I can say for both Aries and Lacia is they are H-games that actually genuinely made me giggle at times with comedic blurbs, which usually fall short in plenty of other H-games.
The H-content in Aries is lesser in quantity. It has pretty good art, some movement and decent sound effects. It's not something where you'll be fully engaged on the H-content alone and more than likely it's a game where you'll end up unlocking gallery content to replay later to jack off too after getting through story elements, or you'll be a little bored or frustrated, drop a fight, and get your dick out just to save afterward and continue next time.
I like the gameplay and I appreciate that if you don't like the gameplay you can drop the difficulty to race through it. That being said, there are really big maps and some annoying sections including enemies that can stunlock you over and over. Top that with a somewhat awkward control scheme (especially when comboing in the air) and it doesn't lay a perfect foundation but works OK.
Conclusion
While Blazing Aries and Battle Princess Lacia aren't great, they are better overall than most sloppy H-RPG games. They will waste some of your time but in my opinion don't overstay their welcome and have acceptable H-content and stories that are basic overall but try harder than the bottom-feeder games. Give them a try but if you don't feel yourself enjoying it, tag out.
