No, galleries were there as a substitute of not having save systems. When there is a working save system, they dont bother with gallery. Best you can do is make saves before your favourite scenes.

It were in the house with werewolf in 2nd floor and with the chick in the bathtub, in the big room on the first floor u have to jump on one of cabinets from the bench nearby and click "E" on painting, if i remember correctly.
