Alright, updated. You can get the patch from the repository or the OP post. This should be the last patch for the game (hopefully), but I'll continue updating if coolsister keps dropping new versions.

As for whether I'm doing coolsister's next game or not, depends on how I'm feeling about it, but in the meantime, the goal is to get Lambda Neros R from MOON KNIGHT SPARKLE done. Happy New Year.

Only download the patch or we need to download the full game again?

Alright, updated...
Downloaded and installed update patch, now game won't start. Says img/system/Window.png failed to load
I made a brand new png file with that name in that folder to see if yielded a positive result, but nothing. Just gives a different error message instead "Uncaught Error: Decryption Error"
Any ideas? I've tried re-downloading v.1.10 from the other thread and decompressing the 1.21 patch onto that fresh new one and still, to no avail. Help please? :(
*edit* Mistyped exact error verbiage

There is no Window folder in img/system/. It is a file named Window.png_
Other file names starting from Window...
Window_f.png_
Window_osha.png_
Window_sub.png_
Window9.png_
Window99.png_
1739505615231.png I see that I misquoted the error message in my initial post. Here is a screenshot to clarify .

In the system folder, are the file extensions of files .png or .png_? Because it should be the latter.
You should just try re-downloading again.
(In case you mistakenly downloaded v1.2) and .

Thank you. I see now.
I gather the issue was: I was using the 1.10 version and attempting to patch it to 1.21 --rather than using v 1.21 and adding the patch to it.

Not everyone has the ability or skill to animate, let alone a good one.

Given the number of H scenes, it would take another 6-12 months of development time if the developer really wanted to animate every H scene.
That's true, but let's be fair... the art is too good to not be animated. Of course different strokes for different folks, but why make such a likeable character and a solid game structure and then not bother investing in some animation? For me it's a wasted opportunity. I'd gladly wait a year to have animations.

And I'd gladly take this year to make the game better without animations. Animations are not that important in my humble opinion.

But animation often comes to the detriment of the art itself. You may retain the art style overall, but often you end up with a much less detailed and polished image overall to allow it to be animated.
Likely since making the same level of detail AND animating it properly would take too much time/effort.

As such, I much prefer the no animation, but high quality over a bunch of Live2D shizzle, but dumbed down art.
