Tried to repeat the process after reinstalling the game, and still nothing. Sucks for me, I guess.

Glad to hear it, modding this game is a pain so there are going to be bugs, especially since some features werent really built around being modded into the game. But I'm fixing them as I play. I'm at the Winter City right now

I've never run into that error before. Delete everything, delete and reinstall python, extract the vanilla game, redownload the entire coc2modding foler with mods folder, resources folder, etc. Then place all modding files in the vanilla coc2 folder and run the patcher again.

The fact you don't have to option to fuck, purify, and or kill main enemies is wild. It's annoying how the game forces you to interact with characters in such linear ways.

Wouldn't be surprised if the very anti-modding "developers" of this game decide to make it even harder to try and mod our own content in. Still, if this does end up not getting shafted by some form of futa cock. I'd be mighty happy to see it end up working its way to TiTs. Maybe I'll get my treatment Reaha yet...

It's too big to chew on for someone like Savin. But let's be real here, anyone at Fenoxo including the OG himself utterly sucks at finishing their games. CoC is not finished. I will fight people irl if they unironically tell me otherwise. Look at what's happened to TiTs, entire chunks of the game, whole planets that carry on the story, various storylines that were hyped for years suddenly get axed and tossed into the wastebin. The same thing's happened in CoC II, with most of the corrupt paths outright being scrapped or scaled back to mean nothing, but I'm honestly surprised no location's been outright axed given the track record of this team

Honestly, all he had to do is scale it back then add lots of interactivity. I never understand the obsession with size for devs, fucking size queens. I'd rather a puddle that's a mile deep than an pool that you can barely sink a finger in.

The thing about violence always has been head scratcher for me. They act like Patreon is like YouTube where you'll get demonitized for just saying fuck, but honestly, I've seen plently of projects with stuff they claim isn't allowed. The entire "Carmen can't be a real vampire!" situation is a prime example of this. Look. I'm not asking for a return to CoC I where you could casually commit incest with your kids, but come on. If you're going to tell me gutting someone is going to axe your game, at least pretend to seriously act like that's the case instead of inserting Gweyr's child murder spree, have us able to kill Imps and the Centaur pack leader, and the original Hobgoblin loss scene that was straight up played 100% serious.

And he loves to use the excuse of "we don't condone or glorify the use of violence," like, my brother in christ half this game is rape fetish, there is no morale highground to claim. Then the obvious hypocrisy erks me so much.

One again, relationships are something CoC 1 did way better. Amily's pure route feels like slow relationship if you take the time, and if you become corrupted she reacts in heartbreak and horror. Even Isabella, who is kinda just DTF for the most part, reacts violently to a corrupted player when met initially. The actual corruption mattered, and even if it wasn't amazing writing, the characters felt like they made sense in the world. Part of the problem in COC 2 is that everyone is like Whitney's farm. The worst area in COC 1. Each character is someone's specific OC with very little flexibility in how you interact with them, and really inconsistent morality. I would honeslt prefer a remaster of CoC 1 in a non flash engine to any more of the CoC 2 mindless slog.

So what are the main capabilities that won't cause a crash?
I wanted to add options to existing scenes, dialog options, and additional dialog. How would I package them so other ppl could play them?
What about revaping the combat system or stats?

The base game has Whiteny as someone's special guest OC, who hangs around her rape horse and meth cow (Marble is the worst companion imo) and in general is kind of a waste of an area outside of being able to train your archery. I think Whitney is one of the most evil NPCs in the game, as she willingly surrounds herself with addictive people and just kinda shrugs when you get bad ended.

Then, even if you can get past that and invite her to camp, she is super clingy and weird, and beefs with Amily, who is just cheesed to meet you and therefore can do no wrong. Your prolly misremembering or didn't explore it long enough, which I can't blame you, she does come off as a hypocrite and can be off putting. The fact tht u can get back at her is great in a corrupted run, the Marble is pretty great (she feels incomplete even tho she had her own companion quest event) n so is Isabella but she turned me all the way off with the whole fartplay nonsense but other wise was nice.
Which brings me to another grouse I have: Most Items in Coc2 have no purpose! In the first one there were so many item interactions, now you can count them on hand.

I recall you being able to corrupt the uppity centaur at the farm but only if you didn't push him hard enough to make him flee and thereby exit stage left of the game. You could also turn him into a girl. It was pretty funny.

I also recall something to do with Whitney but I'm unsure as to whether it was corruption or her calling you out on your corruption and not putting out further because of it. It was one of the two.

Yeah, Kelt is my Fan favorite character honestly, she made me LOVE BEING A DEMON the getback was immaculate, Goodshit everything in Coc2 is weak in comparison.
You could do stuff with Whitney as well, beat her then corrupt her and the farm. You could brand them with tattoos, Whitney got top bitch and Kelly got No.1 Filly fucking PEAK

This was years ago so it might be wrong, but essentially you could have her either as a lover or a slave. If you wanted her as a slave, you essentially pulled a predator on her and jumped her constantly, forcing her to drink this thing that made her more corrupt until eventually she's not more than a sex pest that you can change physically and de-mouse should you want to.

As a lover, it's a lot more wholesome, and she joins willingly, but you can do the same physical changes bar the humanising.
The slave route is locked to high corruption, and doing the lover means you're not more corrupt than I think 30? Either way, she's one of the more fleshed-out characters if I'm remembering right.

It's funny actually; there's a couple of rat/mouse-themed characters in CoC1 that are your followers/lovers/slaves. Someone evidently wanted their own Skaven fest.
