I think that's because someone leaked 0.3.5 before without devs consent, this 0.3.6 version is the one that was supposed to release publicly today after 0.2 so that the full 0.4 releases in the first week of april.

If true, that makes more sense as I continued a save and nothing new. So I did a created a new game save and basically skipped everything to get up to the new stuff and it has basically the same cutoff point.

I've already played the latest version which is 0.4.2 test, and there's nothing major, I feel like until version 0.7 this still won't have any relevant scenes, I mean, the last update didn't have any, this is very early of course, but I hope it doesn't take too long either, because I thought the corruption would start from 0.4 as they had said, but it doesn't seem like that in practice.

i tried it just recently and i wouldn't recommend it, still not enough scenes to jack off to, it's very barebone as of now. Art is great though, if it's finished definitely go for it

This might one those projects that is better forget for few months and comeback to check the progression, based on things i read we wont see much happening until we hit mid game, means upcoming content will based on building the story n here and there a slap or a grope.

That's true. But at the same time, if everyone decided to forget and check for content every few months the dev would have no support. People being excited early on and eagerly awaiting every update are necessary. But that leads to impatience which leads to begging and leaking here.

One solution would be to lower the subscription so that the content matches the fee. In my case, I'm going with a flat $6 for each alpha (small) update and a higher fee for extra privileges. What kind of privileges? I dunno yet

I mean based on content drop each update, it doesnt really match the price they ask, they should review the price if they want more support and visibility (give more options of support), i dont know exactly how is the update schedule until its public, but im assuming its almost a month, if people are eager to see the new update, during that time at a decent price i would bet more people would be willing to throw in a sub.
