Would anyone be able to provide some some general advice based on this render?
I'm a bit stuck on how to further improve my renders.

I generally use 3 point lighting, HDRI and some environmental lighting. Then, I'll do some basic editing and color correction in photoshop as seen here.

If you haven't already done so, turn off the headlight for the camera. It tends to wash out other lights since it is direct from the camera. It will give you other lights more control.

This is my Tavern scene (low-res) with the headlight turned on. More drastic here because it was a low light scene but in a well lit scene you sometimes won't see the effect, until you turn it off

Wow love the tavern shot, gonna test out those settings!!!
Thanks! They've been a HUGE time saver for me. Renders that uses to take hours take 5-10 minutes. If I were doing commercial art of some kind they might not be good enough but that file is rendered in 2160x3840 and probably took well less than an hour based on some previous renders of it and (to me) it looks good enough for a game. Click on it and zoom in and you'll see TONs of fireflies (yes, firefly filter was on ) and other crap, but unzoomed it looks fine. Low light gives way more errors. That is a composite pic where I layered several copies and did different contrast and exposure settings then erased portions to bring out details so you might see some flaws there if you zoom in.

And while I have you here, I apologize; I have a serious problem of being a smart ass and can't help it. I love the render but pictures tell me a story and the girls expressions told me this one. I'll delete if you don't like my.....additions....
