Ok I just beat the church part. Doing the Virgin run right now so....I hope I don't miss out the "gems" I will need for a particular costume (I got green from the bird boss, Red from the flame lizard, Yellow in dessert.)

None of them are permanently missable. You will get the last one in the next dungeon.
Like an ending where the MC wants to have that life again and restarts the church. That would be my preferred ending

yeah, though the original idea I had was that she returns and finds the city rebuilt and the cult as well but one more positive without the hypnosis. this is why i want the project folder for this game to make use of the maps and events already there
It fits because there is a Nun at the capital church you can talk to at the end of the game. She doesn't remember anything of what happened in the church except her fellow Sisters/Nuns and that those were Happy Days.
So they did love that life
So I thought it was a potential for DLC or to continue that Church as a optional Ending.
