That's what he said. Lewdlab's been doing an amazing job so far with this game and assured that NTR would have no place in this game. This is probably just one of those typical romance-building scenes where you drag your sister away from the irrelevant fuckboy, but if he's teasing it, I'm guessing it'll have a mind control twist to it.

Well NTR route wouldn't be that bad if it was optional. definitely it would please some people and if someone don't want to go that route then simply don't, its as simple as that

He received so many critics for the scene with the mother's editor (that it was avoidable) than i really doubt that he is going to add even an optional NTR route. I hate NTR, I really do. However, if it is optional and easily avoidable, it's completely fine with me to have it in a game. A lot of people enjoy it.

You can say this about everything though. Doing a buildup scene takes time away from doing a hardcore scene, doing a footjob/handjob scene means taking time away from a blowjob/titjob scene,...

That being said, you're kinda locked in with an NTR scene. Sex sequences aren't going to impact the story as much as a NTR subplot, which will continue to eat time until resolved. It's like the scene with the book publisher, now that that has happened, it's going to be a little weird not seeing that guy again; but it wouldn't be weird if we got a footjob instead of a blowjob or vice versa.
What I'm trying to say, in a very bloated manner, is that NTR is a huge beast and it needs feeding.

@dartis gets it, I can imagine the disappointment of people wanting to see more of that sexy mom. They went through the trouble of raising her lust so she would wear that outfit. Their reward? Your sweet mother, who makes amazing sandwiches btw, gets blackmailed by some asshole. So now the player has to restart the game, because no one thought a decision so far back would have a significant impact on the game, so yeah, some jimmies were rustled.

To use a more western-term. It's cuckolding. Someone taking someone dear to you and fucking them behind your back. Doesn't have to be a romantic lover, could be a familial love or even a person you admire. Either way, it sexualises that feeling of the floor falling from out underneath your feet; when you discover that someone you love is having sex with another person. Bonus points if you hate the bastard/bitch.
You can see why so many people are divided on NTR, right? Kind of like marmite, some people like that bitter taste and some hate it.

Well here's the thing... I didn't necessarily like the scene (hate NTR if the character is empathetic at all) but it sort of fits with what's going on. I mean, the player is *actively* trying to corrupt the mom, that doesn't happen in a vacuum. It's like those games that let you jump into saying really perverted things right off and then get a game over because the response didn't match the other characters personality/mentality at that time. You can't have it both ways. Either you get a drawn out story build-up, or you rush the corruption but lose control of it and shit you didn't want to happen occurs.
Pick your poison. Besides, you can always go back and change it, the game isn't that hard to re-do.
I think people who complain about NTR are just picky whiners. It's like what Ozygator says, how can you conceivably corrupt people to naughtyness... and expect them to only be naughty with your character only, when your character doesn't even start in a position of power with ANY of the characters. In fact, the PC's mom and older sister start in higher positions of power than you do. In fact, I feel it would be decidedly weird if your older sister DOES NOT bang someone other than you in this game.

I've been corrupting girls since I was 13 and none of them ever fucked around on me, so I must've been doing something wrong according to that logic. In this story the MC is not an asshole like something Icstor would write, he legit loves his mom (who makes amazing sandwiches btw), she happens to be smoking hot. In his defense the mom sort of starts everything and it doesn't help that his best friend sort of nudged him in that direction too. Corruption in most eroge is so boring, you'd think someone would come up with an alternative method to fuck everyone by now, but nope. Closest thing I can think of is bimbofication and that might fit more accurately with the whole corrupted person who wants to fuck everything ntr/cuckery scenario.
