Episode 3 was probably the weakest so far for me, but I still really enjoyed it a lot. The only thing is, the damn Apparition is horrifying as all hell and the possessed eyes of the girls are just as creepy. Especially the mom's blank stare. That shit combined with the Apparition had my ass paranoid the rest of the day.

It's the branching effect , the more the story spreads in different/alternate paths the updates will seem shorter , but as long he keeps a steady update flow should be ok.
