To anyone wanting to use their old save files, load up your save and enter the following commands into the console(shift+O) to fix the errors:
navigation = Navigation()
store.time = 'Afternoon'
The errors come from undefined variables and these commands simply define them the same way starting a new game would.
note: the commands are case sensitive.

is anyone else getting crashes in galley? everytime I choose to look at someones scenes I get the grey error screen and ignore sends me back, while rollback gains another error. one of other options then crashed game on me. tried several times with same result. yes ik....but I like to run at walls several times just to make sure they are still there and not a figment of my imagination
