How hard can it be to use common sense?
Not meant to attack anyone or be mean.
But isn't it common or usual in menus to have new game at the top followed by a load bellow it?

Quick note that you put "are" instead of hard- but that aside, it IS common sense. That's why I checked. But people's reasons for not doing so can range from the fear of pressing a button that gets them into a menu they have no idea what to do with or assuming that both buttons do the same thing since there's no visual difference once either one has been pressed. Given the nature of how this game is set up, I feel that some of that fear is very likely to be unwarranted, but I can somewhat understand people's hesitation.How are can it be to use common sense?

That said, I am speaking from the perspective of someone who generally fucks around and finds out in most games of any variety, so I very well may have a much different view than others.
No. Many games do not have a load button when first booting a game until you press "New Game" first, at which subsequent boots will have "Continue" be the first option.How are can it be to use common sense?

does anyone know how to translate the pixel game maker games/engine? Can I do it with translator++ ?

If you are having the same problem like the rest of us (the game not being properly translated) go into settings at the top of the game, if it's not there press F1, then go to game screen and either set it to japanese or simplified chinese then lastly go into the in game menu with Tab (as long as you didn't mess with keybinds in the previous versions) and set the language there to english.

Let's just agree that it would be better to combine both the New Game and Load Game/Continue button into 1 button called Start.
Whenever you want to start a new game you just select an empty slot.

Also i can name quite a few games that have CONTINUE or LOAD at the top. Its all kind of interchangeable.

I hope we eventually see the old temple and its enemies get a glow-up. But we'll likely see the big tree or poison swamp get redone first.

Poison Swamp was my fav along with the sunset savannah
any news on that other game? I know zell was having another guy work on it or something so its more like succubus affection then forest

Depends on which one you are taking about: - Shiratane Tower (Zell Project) is on hiatus (doesn't look much like Succubus Affection; - Shiro no Yakata (Ansala and Zell) from what I understand Zell's part is done, now it's up to Ansala to code and finish the game (Ansala is the same dev that made Succubus Affection in Collab with Zell, the game is very similar to that one).
