Or maybe he meant he's gonna face some internal conflict or something with another person? afaik FOBS is a one man project not two man, because he did faced some conflict in the making of succubus affection which he worked on disgruntledly iirc.maby he meant game didnt get any dlc?
You probably pressed the wrong button. The second button is a "load game" button, the first one is "new game". If you're playing the March build, you likely forgot to change the language (which was the third button) on the title screen so that you could see that clearly. Your frustration is understandable, but make sure it isn't user error before you blame the game.I played the remasterd version. I captured all the girls en got all treasures. Then I saved the game by touching the green orb. When I reopend the game, I suddenly lost all progress. The game is a masterpeice but the save system still sucks.
As I said in the second part, you don't. The archive is made in such a way that you literally cannot edit it without some intense tech-guru knowledge and skill. What I meant by "do the things yourself" is playing the game. Playing the game or downloading someone else's save file are your only two options. I would suggest the former since it's a really good game, but I can't stop you if you choose to not do so.How should I modify the archive in this situation?

This is why I asked, because none of the solutions here nor ones that I could think of make enough sense to be worth mentioning, especially not the way it was presented to begin with.Or maybe he meant he's gonna face some internal conflict or something with another person? afaik FOBS is a one man project not two man, because he did faced some conflict in the making of succubus affection which he worked on disgruntledly iirc.
Ah, the classic GameMaker C++ issue. Not to fret, we've discussed this issue before and I posted a fairly reliable solution that should work 90% of the time. How do you install the new March Build? The file was missing some dll files. It may be on my end. Can someone help me with the installation?
Though an important step to take before following the advice above is to find anything that looks like the stuff in the screenshot below. Any method of installing the C++ files will fall flat if you try to do so without deleting the ones you have already because the overlap will break things even more, or just cause the download to just not work overall. Also, to anyone running into the dll issue, while I'm not perfectly in touch with tech to know the exact fix you might need, I was taught a bootleg fix by someone a few years ago. (If I could thank them directly again, I absolutely would, but I can't for the life of me remember what game it was that the fix was for. I think it was Buzama...?)
You must be registered to see the links
Instead of downloading the C++ files directly, what you can do is download this game above, The Legend of Jump Jump, that's also made in Pixel Game Maker MV. It will allow you to play this and any other game in PGMMV in the future, because the problem shows up in all of them if it shows up in one. When you run the installer for Jump Jump, it'll automatically check if you have the C++ files it needs to run and install/update them if it can't run. It's super useful and kinda strange how no one else has done it, but eh. It is what it is. Anyway, the files it'll install or update are the same ones needed to run any other game in the same engine, so you should never run into this specific issue again after you download it. You can safely delete Jump Jump after it has installed without losing the C++ files, but it is a fun game, so you should try it anyway.
Best of luck to all of you, and I do apologize if this no longer works somehow.
Not dropped, finished the animations for it.i was waiting for the horror themed one until he just dropped it out of the blue
In the first 2 versions there were enemies that are not capturable like that red cone thing with white arms or that blue rope white tiger thing.Everyone else is most likely going to be a capturable monster/boss.
Returning Characters:Also, additionally, he's already added new enemies if I remember correctly, so consider that question answered.
RevivedI'm very happy to know that this game is still alive
While I'm also curious to know what supposedly happened to SA I'm also wondering why you said that twice in one post?yes but the same thing that happened to succubus affection is going to happen to him.yes but the same thing that happened to succubus affection is going to happen to him.
Main Menu has 3 options from top to bottom, New Game, Load/Continue, Language.I played the remasterd version. I captured all the girls en got all treasures. Then I saved the game by touching the green orb. When I reopend the game, I suddenly lost all progress. The game is a masterpeice but the save system still sucks.
... ._.You probably pressed the wrong button.
Well, thank you anyway. However, my technique isn't good enough to finish the game even following the instruction.Sometimes I can be amused by my own stupidityAs I said in the second part, you don't. Fair enough, honestly. I'll grab my save file in a little bit for you to use, but if you do genuinely want to get better, I suggest practicing against less powerful monsters to get used to how the game works and improve your fundamental skills. My first suggestion for that purpose would be the Ant Girls. They're not incredibly difficult, but memorizing their tells and preparing accordingly can help you in the long run. (Also, if you do take this route, I can give you small checklist of monsters to practice against if that helps.)Well, thank you anyway. I did not make such errors, but I will try again and I will only choose English. You probably pressed the wrong button. The second button is a "load game" button, the first one is "new game". Then I'mma be real with you, that's a very unique issue. If you pressed the second button, Load Game, and couldn't load your previous save data, something messed up on your end that hasn't been an issue for a while. Could you recount the exact process you went through from saving to reopening the game?I did not make such errors. It's the fault of the save system.
Oké I will explain what I did in steps. Then I'mma be real with you, that's a very unique issue. Hold on a minute, why did you choose Japanese?Oké I will explain what I did in steps.
Step 1. Before I begin the game. I choose to play in English. During the game I saved quite often.
Step 2. Before closing the game I saved.
Step 3. I closed the game.
Step 4. immediately I reopend the game.
Step 5. I choose Japanese.
Stap 6 I checked my save file and lost all my captured, items, money and achievements.
That's what happened.
oh i see, so its just a matter of time when it actually gets releasedNot dropped, finished the animations for it.
Someone else is doing the coding.
I mean that in the end it will be "forgotten", it will not be possible to revive it due to lack of content or mods will not be able to be created, but the game is still in progress so maybe everything I say will not come true (hopefully)What happened to Succubus Affection? And why are you so sure it'll happen again when Zell wasn't even the dev for that one? (He was the artist, but all the coding was someone else's doing.)
Yes, but if it weren't for the fact that they are going to make a sequel, the game would be more dead than I know why in that game you can't do anything else when it's finished and you can't create mods for that game either.what? but wasn't succubus affection already complete?
I mean, I guess? The game is still highly regarded even without mods being made for it. It's completely finished, so it doesn't necessarily need to be alive. If FOBS gets the same treatment, sure, it'll sting, but it'll still be a solid, complete experience either way.Yes, but if it weren't for the fact that they are going to make a sequel, the game would be more dead than I know why in that game you can't do anything else when it's finished and you can't create mods for that game either.
