Well, I found a file called play_1.json and guessed that it was the save file. But when I tried to open it with VS code, I failed and saw garbled text.

Nope. It's running on a different engine that will allow it to pretty much be as big as Zell wants with little to no limitations.

That's because the text is supposed to be illegible. The game can decipher it and convert it into understandable save data, you cannot. So if you're looking to change specific things about your save file, you'll have to borrow someone else's who's done whatever you're trying to add or remove manually or just do the things yourself.

"if they become enemies" you say, so they were meant to enemies you can fight?, because they are just standing around and do absolutely nothing
tbh i mostly ask because the shirono yokata (or whatever it was called) you couldn't really control any of the animations so i got a bit worried that this remake would've been the same
well i hope he actually finishes this one... i was waiting for the horror themed one until he just dropped it out of the blue

ye i played the original which was rather awkward because it had version A and version B (yes i know it was due to engine limitations)
II wonder if he will add new enemies or he's just going to remake the original ones

...When I said "if they become enemies", I meant in reference to future versions. They aren't enemies yet, just like the Green Harpy and Fenrir aren't capturable, because that hasn't been implemented into the game yet. I think the only animations in the game that will be 100% autoplay are the Wolf Girl and the shopkeeper. Everyone else is most likely going to be a capturable monster/boss.

Also, additionally, he's already added new enemies if I remember correctly, so consider that question answered.
last two are from the preview area you can access via the stone gate (take left portal on hill outside base) after beating the Bossfight enemy that gives you the green orb (can't recall name, the monkey girl wearing brown panties, you encounter going right from the base till you can't go anymore)

What happened to Succubus Affection? And why are you so sure it'll happen again when Zell wasn't even the dev for that one? (He was the artist, but all the coding was someone else's doing.)
How do you install the new March Build? The file was missing some dll files. It may be on my end. Can someone help me with the installation?

would've been a little disappointing if he only remade the enemies present in the older versions and that's it
i hope the demons get added tho, eventually, i hope this one gets added though
I played the remasterd version. I captured all the girls en got all treasures. Then I saved the game by touching the green orb. When I reopend the game, I suddenly lost all progress. The game is a masterpeice but the save system still sucks.
