Makla and Timfalme again? I was sure people don't like Homaspernia routes that much.

Where did you get this? The reason it might seem that way is because Hell Kingdom has the most side routes so the opinion is split much more compared to other regions.
Well, having the mc in constant danger because the giantess looks down on him is not nice. This is why Yakuu is the least favourite.
Personally, Nyxmay's route is probably my favourite, for how she starts to treat better and better to the mc (gets crushed, but uses magic to make it painless and somehow enjoyable without even offering, and her backstory is full of intrigue)
I wasn't talking about individual routes, I was talking about regional routes. Hell Kingdom has the most heroines, so that would make it seem unpopular if you go by polls (because the vote is more split). Sponsors on the other hand doesn't mean much because it's mostly the same 3 characters getting the lion's share of sponsors (Margarita, Naya, Madea).

Something interesting I noticed recently about side characters and main LIs... in the game's sprites folder there are separate folders for the main LIs, and a folder named 'secondary'. What's interesting, is there are folders in sprites for Alryen, Dariea, Fierkel, Gemini gems, Helga, Iris, Orphelith, Satiyoh, and Trish. They all aren't in the 'secondary' folder, instead they're alongside the main LIs.

What I would assume to be actual side characters such as Anabel, Dextra, Eliz, Aisling, Cygnia, Evalin, Sadia and Eliha, Ivory, Kora, Petra, Mel, Minbe, Niniel, ...Some unnamed demon...?, Fantasma, Unnamed zombie girl, Praila, Reiko, etc. etc.
It's where the non-giantess sprites are too, like Brais for example.

In virtually every poll Makla is in dead last or close to it even if she got a new content update (usually characters see an uptick in popularity when they get an update), while Yakuu is typically near the bottom as well. Its not as much about Homaspernia as those two characters in particular. Unless you're an extreme masochist who unironically wants to be cruelly abused or to be a coombrained slave you probably don't like Yakuu, and there's little wiggle room in that. Makla seems like an actual psychopath.
As the plot got revealed, you kind of see that Kendra has at least a "reason" to be how she and do what she did, and its almost looking like she might have a chance to have her Anakin Skywalker moment based on what Yakuu and Makla are up to, especially if you're on certain parts of Maryen path and make a few choices that are flagged clearly having to do with it. (Tasty pancakes will unironically save the world

Maybe that's going to be for a "weapon" route where the player delves more into her backstory and she becomes a bit more uninhibited with her appetite, possibly with forays into Neutral territory when it gets revealed who instigated the war with the (likely? I'm up to date with their kingdoms less than the other routes atm... but I want more ANGERY BEE who likes destroying stuffSpeaking of... there's also a to be continued screen early on with Diula. Been there for quite a while. It's at the scenes before she goes to Regina.
) false flag attack.Unfortunately there are people who created the OC for those characters hence "guest" characters, so unless the rights holder to them comes back or agrees to give AIK and the team rights to use them for the story it's not happening.
I'm not sure if anyone's characters, particularly new ones aren't the team's original characters, but if they are a donor's idea/etc, it probably meant they have a binding agreement that they can't start drama over anything in the game involving the character or otherwise, and the person who created Seinaru didn't agree or dipped out.
Makla's problem is that she's the latest addition of a niche that is very saturated with the likes of Yakuu, Kendra and Nyxmay + she has the least content out of all of them.
The person I responded to explicitly mentions Homaspernia routes in general. Even individually Pyeka's route ranks pretty high and if you add up all the regional routes' votes it's the region that gets the most votes. (because again, it has the most heroines)
As far as Yakuu is concerned, from what we know she does seem to be a warmonger so yeah... What you can do is try to make her more merciful or keep her as she is (Yakuu2 subroute vs Yakuu1 subroute). While she isn't my favorite by a long shot, her route does add a unique perspective to the game which is getting to play a bonafide "evil" path in the game. But who knows, maybe that could change and she actually does have a reason to start a war.
