This started out okay. The whole "He died jerking off" has been done to death but it levelled out once MC was in the new world.
But he becomes an abject retard around chapter 7 and even moreso when he meets Lunar. He completely loses situational awareness and has a full on autistic fit.
You had okay writing for a bit just for it to fall apart.
He was contemplative but not overbearing, and nothing felt too heavy. Then he becomes a horny monster that screeches when he sees someone with cat ears? Come on.

It seems like you prefer serious and mature protagonists.
If that's the case, this game might not be for you. It's written in a comedy style with a main character who's pretty perverted and over-the-top.
The reason I wrote a character like this is because I felt like there were already too many serious protagonists out there, so I wanted something funny with interesting situations caused by the MC.
Maybe I'm not keeping up with the trends, but oh well, I'll just write what I like

Oh, and one more thing: MC always knows when to joke around and when to be serious. If you've read up to Chapter 9, you'll see that when he's being humorous, he can be a horny monster, but when it's time to be serious, he becomes a dignified and powerful marquis.

That's also how I'll continue writing moving forward. The moments that need humor will be funny, and the moments that require seriousness will be treated seriously!

People have different tastes is all I am reading from the comments here, personally this story is great and the humor is on point and while the H scenes for now are not in the high numbers the ones there are done rather well as well. It's not just a simple 10 second scene and then onto the next girl.

Ah, it's really simple

Just copy the "hide_clipboard_voicing_enabled.rpy" file from the "game/scripts" folder and paste it into the "game/" folder of the game you're playing. Then, just launch the game, and it should work.

I'm not entirely sure if it works well with games built on Ren'Py 7.x, but I believe it should work fine with Ren'Py 8.x.

I just remembered that the file I'm using is a modified version I updated to accommodate changes in the latest Ren'Py versions.

I've attached an older version that works well with games using an older Ren'Py engine. If the file from my game/ folder doesn't work, try the following:
- Close the game.
- Delete that file along with the generated .rpyc file (you'll need to delete both hide_clipboard_voicing_enabled.rpy and hide_clipboard_voicing_enabled.rpyc).
- Copy the attached file into the game/ folder and try again.

You should use this new file, as it will work for most games. If it doesn't work, then try the hide_clipboard_voicing_enabled.rpy file from my game.

There is nothing wrong with having a bit of humor in the game. A well placed joke or a humorous situation may be a good way to make people laugh or to ease the mood of too dark motives. After all, life isn't always serious and people do joke around, but sometimes jokes simply don't land.

I think you're taking this way too seriously, bro. You sound like someone playing with the mindset that humor should only appear occasionally, at just the right moments, to give players a break—never too much, because too much would be ridiculous.


Maybe it's just a cultural difference… perhaps. In my country, hardly anyone questions the MC being pervy or goofy. This is a comedy game, and for it to be funny, characters have to do silly things. You can't expect them to just frown, be all serious, and act completely logically. That wouldn't be much of a comedy, would it?

When you play an adult game, you never ask questions like:
- Why does this female character so easily sleep with the MC?
- Why does she fall in love with him right after meeting him?
- Why is seducing girls so easy—just talk to them three times, and boom, you're in bed?
- Why does she act like it's nothing when the MC is already in a relationship with two other girls?
- How is he able to have a completely peaceful harem in a modern setting?

No one asks these questions, right? Because if someone does, the answer will be: "Dude, why are you taking this so seriously? It's an adult game!"
